Great new tank
I love this product. I bought this for my new lesser tenrecs that I will be getting soon and it came fast and was easy to put together by myself. Why did you pick this product vs others?:The dimensions were exactly what I needed and the reviews reflected that it was a quality product. Sturdiness:Decent sturdiness for the shape, I’m not afraid it will fall apart or damaging easily. Value for money:A little expensive as I could’ve gotten a 120cal 4x2x2 a lot cheaper than this but the stand I have fit these dimensions instead. Design:Seems to be made of quality materials. Heavy duty. Build quality:Easy to put together despite the instructions being missing from my box. Size:Size is exactly as described. Please note that the dimensions listed are the outside dimensions which are not same as the inside ones, the inside will be smaller. Scratch resistance:Not sure about scratch but I haven’t seen many finger prints staying which is nice.

This is the second one of these that I have ordered. The first one I rated one star because the packaging was very flimsy, and it arrived virtually destroyed. To Amazons credit they allowed me to return that and I ordered a second one. The second one arrived in great shape, and was far easier to assemble than I expected based upon the reviews I had read. It really is a very well-made terrarium, and my ball python seems quite happy in his new home. I didn’t actually read the assembly instructions because I was curious to see just how hard it would be to me to assemble it. As it turned out, it was very straightforward. Each piece of glass was marked (side, back, front, etc). All other parts were intuitively obvious. Happy to rate this five stars.UPDATE: It’s now been 3 months since I bought this. Still very happy, as is my ball python! All movable parts still working well.

Sturdy tank, with a few small flaws
I don’t currently have a pet so I can’t give any review based on that aspect of it. It was fairly easy to put together, some places I wish were a little more snug but it’s nothing I feel a pet could fit through. The bars gave me some issues because I didn’t realize they weren’t down all the way until after screwing on the top and realizing it wouldn’t lay flat with all of them. So I had to take it off and redo them. The doors do rattle when this tank is shut (seems to be mainly the right one), I’d assume an easy fix would be to put some felt pads on them which I’ll be buying to try. The suction cups stick QUITE well, and at times you practically have to peel them off for them to release. The doors do only lock when they are positioned a certain way, left in back, right in front, otherwise they slide right open.I will not be putting water in it so I can’t attest to if the base is watertight like it says. Otherwise this seems to be a fairly secure, well made tank. The mesh screen seems to be well secured and I would beg to say would support my 14 pound cat if he decided to jump on it. Came packaged well, even with some dents on the box I had no issues with any part being broken or missing, although there is a scratch on one piece of glass, I’m unsure if I did it or if it came as such, it will be covered anyways.

Snake can’t open doors!
It’s great for the snake. It’s plenty big. The snake can’t breakout of this cage.

Exactly what I wanted!
I love this enclosure for my snake!!! It arrived safely and well packaged. Assembly instructions were ok and I was able to assemble it by myself in about 20 minutes. Decorating it took longer but assembling it was a breeze. I added some handles to be able to open the sliding doors easier and a more secure locking mechanism for safety but the enclosure itself is excellent.

*Excellent* Ball Python Tank
This tank is the best tank for my ball pythons. I have 3 of these tanks. They are stacked on top of one another to help with space and have done very well for the time I have had them thus far.The only issues I had:1) I had to return one tank and swap it with another because the lid consisting of metal mesh was dented in from transport.2) The last tank I put together I could not get the doors to lock. When I compared it to the other tanks I realized the doors were backwards on the tracks which is why the lock was having a hard time engaging. the door on the right should be on the front track closest to the person opening the tank. The door on the left side should be on the back track closest to the rear of the tank. Once I took it apart and reversed the doors it fixed the locking issue.Tank is great with many ports to run wires for climate control, etc. 10/10 will buy this again when expanding on future reptiles. Order some $8 handles you can mount to the front doors to make it easier to open and close the sliding doors. That’s the only thing I wish had been included in this kit, but not a dealbreaker at all.

The Best Tank
I bought this for my male ball python, and I am beyond impressed. Everything was packaged carefully, the parts where clearly labeled, the stickers on the glass don’t leave a residue when peeled off, the instructions were very easy to understand and follow, and it only took me 30 minutes to put it together by myself, and I’m not a person who’s good at assembling these sort of things. They really thought of everything with this tank from the multiple access points for wires and tubing to the security. Theres even a 2nd key in case you lose it. The only changes I would make is for them to add a 2nd cable pass for wires and tubing on the opposite side, and handles to push open the doors, but that’s minor.
