Wonderful!!
These are wonderful filters.Yes, the water flows seems to be a tad diminished, but just a tad and my kitties don’t seem to have a problem with it. I think this may be due to there being more charcoal in the filter than other filters – I could be mistaken, but I believe this means it’s doing a better job at filtering the water?As for the charcoal dust – after giving the filters a very good initial rinse before they’re installed (I rinse, shake, rinse – & repeat 3 or 4 times), I’m not seeing any further charcoal dust. Other filters I’ve purchased (including the name brand) have continuously put out charcoal dust no matter how much I’ve rinsed them beforehand. Doesn’t seem to be a concern with these filters and I’ve now used 4 of the 8 filters.A very good value and I will be purchasing them again.

WASTE OF MONEY — Water doesn’t run through them!
Water can’t actually get through them because they’re produced with such a tight cover. I think charcoal may actually be inside, but it’s not even being used. The water can’t even run through properly. As someone else said, the original ones from PetSafe actually have charcoal bleed at first and that’s why you run them through cold water for a minute or so before installing. No need to with these because they’re literally not doing anything with that charcoal. Such a joke and a waste of money. I thought my pump wasn’t pumping anymore, bought a new one and it still wasn’t. Then I realized, oh, water can’t actually pump through something so tightly pulled/small pores or whatever the issue is. If you run it under the sink, put your hand underneath after pulling from under the faucet and you’ll see that any water coming off the bottom is just running off from the top. It is not coming through the gauze.

Quick and a good package size.
They arrived on time, they work in the fountain I have, they look identical to the original filters. There are 8 sets and will cover 8 replacements. My fountain maker recommends cleaning and replacement of filters once a week.
