Keeps Kitty Comfy
Have a cat at my farm that likes to hang around the barn. He earns his keep as he keeps the mouse population under control.This is my second purchase of a Toomey heating pad. I bought the smaller one over a year ago and it is still working great. I put it in one of those black and yellow storage totes that I cut a hole in for access. Well the cat got bigger (he’s 3 feet long stretched out) so he needed a bigger house. So I built a larger one out of plywood and lined it with foam insulation; and bought this larger pad. He’s in it almost every day to take his breaks from “working”.I did lay a bath towel over the top of it so he doesn’t get the pad too soiled. Even though the instructions say not to, it works just fine. With the pad only rated at 50 watts, it’s not going to get very warm to human touch. But when the cat lays on it, what heat there is will radiate through and make him very comfortable.

Outside Critter Pad
I purchased this to go inside a canvas dog house I have on my patio for any critters who may need shelter. This house is off the ground, but even with cardboard padding, I worried about the single digit temps we were looking at hitting. This is EXCELLENT. It fits across the back of the house and the cord slips out the back corner. I did have a special outlet cover installed to protect the plug from wind, rain, snow, etc and it’s working Beautifully!! The local branch of the Universal Cat Distribution System assigned a couple of kitty’s to our yard and they now have adequate shelter and warmth due to this pad. Highly Recommended!!

Perfect for outside cats
These work so good for the couple of feral cats that adopted me (or adopted my yard and designated me their food supply). I have three of them and use them in an outdoor cat condo and hut. They aren’t burning hot. Just warm enough to keep the cat warm. I put them on a dusk to dawn timer when it’s just chilly at night and then all the time when it’s really cold.

My zipper order only had 6 zippers I pkg & 2 did not have the xtra seam above zipper so u could sew it on a top zippered fabric bag –
Protect mat from puppy chews!!!
My mini bully, 30 lb puppy kept chewing on the zipper & where cord attaches. Almost destroyed it!I used a zippered pillow cover, cut the corner out & zip tied it & zipped it back up & threw it in her crate. If your puppy chews, protect your heated mat. I ordered a medium. Fit her crate perfectly. Chew problem resolved by ChatGPT. She loves it & so do I. Leave the crate open so they can get out. U don’t want them to get too hot. Mine is in the house.

This is the second Toozey Outdoor Heated Pet Mat I have purchased. It is currently located inside of an outdoor uninsulated pet house.What I Like:1. The temperature is thermostatically regulated and heat is triggered by the Pet sitting or laying on the mat.2. The 16 inch by 20 inch mat fit in both of my medium and large Pet houses.3. The mat never overheats and the Pet remains comfortable while on the mat. The mat does not heat if the Pet is not on it.4. The electrical cord is protected from Pet chewing and from moisture. It can remain plugged into an outlet outside in winter conditions.5. Pets enjoy the soft cover. The mat cover is washable and can be removed from the mat for cleaning.6. This product is durable so far; I bought another mat identical to this one a year ago and it is still working well.What I don’t Like:1. Only 1 washable mat cover comes with the mat. If the cover is removed for washing, the mat can not be used until the cover is put back on for the mat to work properly. A 2nd washable cover would permit uninterrupted use of the mat, especially in the winter.2. This mat would not be optimal for Pet houses smaller than the mat size; this mat should not be folded or bent to work properly.

Ce coussin à 40 watts est idéal pour un chat à l’extérieur. Ma chatte adore ce coussin. Elle dort souvent dehors la nuit et à -15C en descendant elle couche dans la maison. Depuis 1 semaine les nuits sont entre -20 et -25 et elle dort dehors sur ce coussin. À la condition de faire un abri pour le coussin pour éviter tous vents.
