I bought this because I was looking for a non auto shut off heating pad for some baby squirrels I was caring for that my cat brought in. Despite the picture saying always on this is not true. The longest it stays on is 4 hours

The Texsens Pet Heating Pad has been a useful addition to our pets’ outdoor house. While it doesn’t appear to be UL-rated, we only use it during the day and never leave it powered or plugged in overnight, so safety has not been an issue for us. It doesn’t get super hot, but it provides just enough warmth to keep our pets comfortable when they decide to hang out in their outdoor house during cooler days.The chew-resistant cord and removable soft cover are thoughtful features, making it both durable and easy to clean. Overall, it’s a solid option for daytime warmth, but be mindful of its limitations and take safety precautions when using it. It’s a decent value.

Cats love it
Every cat loves a heater mat. My feral garage cats really need one in the winter. This mat worked fine. My only concern is that it is not UL listed as being tested for safety so I put mine on a multi plug outlet with a surge protector just in case something goes wrong. Now I can just flip the switch on in the evening before they hop into their cozy beds for the night. We have a pet door that allows them to come in at night for feeding time. Over time we trained them to come in before dark for food. Then we adjust the door so they can’t get out at night to protect them from predators like coyote, raccoons, and mountain lions. They now love it and are safe and warm all night long. I sleep better knowing my kitties are safe at night.
