Great product for the price; Suspiciously/Randomly Turns On
I’ve had this camera for a few months now and I’m really glad I got it. It definitely was confusing to set up, but once I got it working I had no problems after that. The picture quality is great, even at night, so I was really impressed with that! The treat dispensing button was confusing at first. The instructions do not indicate that you have to hold the button down for it to work, so I thought it was broken at first. Then I found an email from the manufacturer with more information on the product with proper instructions on how to get the treat dispenser to work. The speaker volume is really low and glitchy, so that’s a little inconvenient. The microphone sound quality isn’t great, so it scares my dog every time I use it (so I only use it to get her to stop barking now and not to interact with her otherwise). The treats being thrown also scares her, but she scares easy so I should have considered that when I bought the product. Pretty much, the camera is great to see what my dog is doing when I want and to yell at her to stop barking; therefore, I still consider it worth the purchase and I’m happy I got it, but you definitely get what you pay for.On another note, though, I have noticed the camera turn on (red dots show up and I hear it “click” on) while I’m home. There has been no sound (i.e., my dog is not barking) when this has happened that could explain it possibly turning on. However, the camera is not supposed to activate like that on its own anyways. It doesn’t even have an option to record. Therefore, I have no idea why it is randomly turning on. This is disconcerting, especially since I have the camera in my room, so I have started covering it with a towel when I’m home so I at least have the comfort of myself not being in view of the camera. Information about why the camera is doing this, as well as the company’s privacy policy, would be nice to feel more comfortable having this in my home.In the end, it’s sufficient to monitor your pet; so if you’re on a budget, it’s better than spending money on the big brand name products. However, there are cons to consider.

Come to expect this from the Chinese garbage Amazon is pushing these days. Instruction page in microscopic print. Need to get it as PDF and zoom to at least 125% to be able to read. As others have noted, it does not support 5 GHz WIFI. It’s cheap. However, it barely supports 2.5 GHz from the beginning. It is NOT easy to set up. Once set up, it works long enough to give you the false sense of security that it’s actually working. Then when you want to use it’s remote dispensing capability because you’re away on vacation, it suddenly looses connection. Have to cycle power to get it to reconnect after you get home. Then it starts doing it all the time. After 9 months, it will no longer connect to the network. The “hold the button” to reset the device even does nothing. The phone program no longer will detect it. Period. It just sits there with a flashing light working as a manual feeder.

Great Christmas gift! Perfect for price, easy to assemble , night vision and motion detection are great perks and I always love seeing my dogs happy over a treat of course! Only downside is the delivery wasn’t great, product box was damaged and the package was damaged and left in the rain as well

Great alternative to similar more expensive brand
I got this treat feeder to help with crate training anxiety for our rescue pup. It worked perfectly. She freaked out a bit when we talked to her and became over excited, so only fed treats when she was calm and just before coming home.. totally recommend for that!Ten months later, we have another rescue and thought, ok, do the same.. Well, it works yes and no..This guy, an Anatolian Shepherd year and a half, was not ready for the extra stimulation from a treat robot. Keep it outside the crate.. it may or may not shoot the treat hard enough to make it in so may cause frustration and make things worse, but do NOT leave inside the crate even bungy corded TIGHT to the wall.. our dog ate the cord.. chewed it up.Thankfully, I reached out to the company. This kind of thing is not covered by warranty (which is 1 year), but they were happy to help. Can’t wait to get a new cord, get back to treating the pup that can deal with it in her crate and buy another feeder to place outside the door of our new pup so they can both wait for treats to pop at them while we are out.The camera quality is good during daytime, the night time is “meh”, but still does the job. We love our Faroro!

Okay Product but Not Sure
As some reviewers noted, when trying to give treats it doesn’t turn off unless you unplug it. But that’s not the reason for my personal complaint which is I can’t tell when the camera is turned on as there is no indication light for that.I was very concerned after reading another review that said she noticed the camera turning on and off on its own. This lead me to worry about the privacy policy of this company. I immediately unplugged the device and then headed to their website; to no avail as their site is down. I messaged the seller to ask about their privacy policy just to be completely ignored and given what looks to be an auto-message thanking me and telling me to join their Facebook group. Nope!Removed paragraph to add edits on the privacy policy.Edit: After asking again for their privacy policy and letting them know their website is down, the reply I received from “Alicia” was that she would pass along the issue with their website to the team and then she asked me what a privacy policy is. She had never heard of something like that. Then she again tried to get me to continue communication off Amazon and on Facebook.Edit 2: Alicia replied back and told me that they have “no right to access the live or recorded content” and that the app that’s used for it was created by a “professional company, not us”. So I will check the app for their privacy policy but I do appreciate Alicia’s response.

Dato il prezzo contenuto mi aspettavo una cinesata e invece no! I materiali sono molto buoni, l’aspetto estetico pure. L’applicazione non è in italiano perfetto ma comunque è facile da configurare e usare. La connessione è stabile e la qualitá dell’immagine è buona, anche al buio con gli infrarossi! Il lancia crocchette è funzionale e utile: ne lancia 3/4 delle mie ma immagino sia per la dimensione delle stesse. C’é anche la possibilitá di “comunicare” con il proprio cane con altoparlante ma il mio cane se ne frega…si alza solo per le crocchette!

Estaba buscando una camara que lanze galletas a mis perros para poder entrenarlos a estar solos y la verdad es que estoy muy contento con la funcionalidad de la camara. La imagen y el sonido son espectaculares, me permite oir el mas minimo ruido que se produce en la habitacion. El lanzador esta muy bueno, a veces lanza más de una vez pero no me quejo. La verdad es que si tienes un cachorro como en mi caso, esta es la mejor forma de entrenamiento para dejarlos solos en casa por unas horas ( en el mio 1:30 horas ) , por supuesto dejandolo con juguetes para que se distraiga.

The bluetooth doesn’t work, so you need to scan the QA code to connect the camera. The scanner is also crappy if you manage to connect once first, you need to reset 3 times before you can connect again via QR code. Took a lot of time, could be way easier.

Un peu difficile à comprendre comment installer sur le téléphone pour l’application. Perso le QR code ne fonctionnait pas.Mais une fois installé, elle fonctionne très bien. L’image est de très bonne qualité, même en vision nocturne. Le son et le micro fonctionne très bien et le distributeur de friandises également.Tres satisfaite de mon achat.Seul bémol, on peut la connecter que sur un seul téléphone.
