Still the best on the market
Just purchased my second unit. The first one lasted over six years of regular usage with no issues but finally stopped working. The new one is nearly exactly the same unit save for an added power switch on the bottom. But they’ve improved it, too! The new motors are much quieter and stronger than the original ones. And the ‘recovery time’ between each launch has been shortened. All in all great improvements to an already great machine. I highly recommend it. And our dogs absolutely agree!

Happy puppy, happy family
My puppy LOVES fetch so this was a gift for the whole family! She just got it yesterday for Christmas and still learning how to use it but already broke the balls! They are crap. The machine works good and our puppy gets so excited. As other reviews said, it doesn’t work when the ball gets too slobbery which doesn’t take long with our pup. Will continue to decide if it’s worth the money.

Too Bad
One of my 3 small dogs LOVES to play fetch. He lives for it. So I thought this would be a fun toy. Nope.Unfortunately I couldn’t train him to use the machine by himself, only when I would drop the ball in.The machine itself only half-works. I thought I could use any of my tennis balls with this machine which are the same exact size as the balls that come with it, however you can only use the 3 balls that come with it as per the instructions, and trying other balls proved they are correct, it doesn’t work. Other balls are too firm and don’t work. So once your dog chews up the 3 balls the machine is useless. I guess the manufacturer probably sells the balls for a steep price but I’m not going to even bother looking as I don’t use this thing.Also it doesn’t consistently shoot out the balls, sometimes it shoots quite well, other times they just dribble out a few feet because the ball is not grabbed consistently by the wheels inside. Sometimes one of the wheels will grab the ball more and just spin the ball too much instead of pushing it out evenly on both sides.

Stopped working of battery power
The product is awesome, my dogs love it and they’re still work in progress dropping the ball in. Had to reach out to seller for an issue with the were very very responsive and all is well. Great toy for evening play time to tire them out for bedtime. I can even use it indoors in the hallway by adjusting the distance of the ball.

BROKEN WITHIN 3 DAYS
I had this ball thrower for a total of 3 days before it stopped working. Not sure why exactly, seems like it’s related to the battery/power. For the time it did work, it was great! My dog is half lab and half heeler so the craziness for ball with high energy is STRONG!! Seriously, he’s never ending with wanting to play fetch so this was amazing and he was in love! The different distances were perfect and worked well. I am having a new one sent so hopefully I’ll have better luck with that one, if not, I will be giving an updated review that will be to not recommend purchasing.Giving an updated review months later. The new one they sent has been working GREAT!! I’ve had zero issues at all and my pup is happy again

For Puppy Parents Whose Lives Literally Revolve Around Balls!
If you have a young, active puppy, I highly recommend this toy. This is actually the second launcher we’ve purchased, and this time we got the extended warranty — which I also strongly suggest. Our pup completely wore out the first one, so we bought a second with extra balls since they tend to get lost.The launcher is very versatile: it can toss balls about 3 feet, 5 to 10 feet, or even 15 to 20 feet. I recommend using it indoors only. It runs on batteries or can be plugged in, which is super convenient.My only complaint is that it’s a bit lightweight — we had to use heavy-duty Velcro and tape it to a board to keep it from sliding around when she nudges it. Also, dog slobber quickly builds up inside, and I can’t imagine how messy it would get with dirt and grass outside!Despite those minor issues, I’ll keep buying these as long as she wears them out. Overall, I give it an A+++ — a must-have for any dog owner with a ball-obsessed pup!

If you want to pay a lot of money and get a toy your dog loves, DONT BUY THIS ONE. It broke after only 3 months and also broke my dog’s heart. She loved this toy and couldn’t understand why she couldn’t play with it anymore. The motor completely conked out.

4 feet at the most. 3 settings are the same Brooking don’t know,,, UPDATE machine stay on wont shut off. ball wont launch anymore. We’ve been buying 50 dollars of balls this month , the dog keeps chewing them and that’s all right. but the fact that the company only gives 30 days warranty SAD!
