Another gimmicky product from Fancy Feast, kitties liked it
I’m a sucker for weird new cat foods for my spoiled kitties. This product was on sale and I decided to try it. My cats enjoyed the taste. It had am acceptable amount of gravy without being too much. Each gem was enough for one serving for my cat. It wasn’t dried out, bone dry pate, which my cats hate. It isn’t something I would buy if it weren’t on sale, but all in all I would buy this again and likely recommend it. The only thing I didn’t like about it is that when you go to open it, the gravy splatters out of it a little and I got it all over my fingers.

High quality, grain free, and affordable food for your fur babies
My two cats absolutely love this food. My oldest cat has stomach issues (sensitive to grains) but he is able to easily digest this food. When you have older cats eating wet food helps to keep their coats shiny. I checked with a vet to make sure that this was a quality food for the price. Because of the generous serving size, I split one Gem between them for each meal. They both love the gravy that comes with the mousse. I would highly recommend this for cats with digestive issues, need extra moisture in their diets, and to improve their coats.

Looks elegant for cat food the way it looks when served. They love that gravy.
The first time I found these and got a few for my two picky eaters they loved them. They are not easily found where I live so it had been awhile since I’d bought any. They seem to eat different foods for a little while then just stop eating them. I try not to be too tough on them because our taste buds change as well so why not theirs? When I found them on here in a variety pack I decided to get it for them and so they could try a few new flavors. They are barely eating them and actually seem to just be going for the thick gravy which is on the bottom but comes out on top once you put in their bowl. I have to be careful with any food I get them because my female has a shellfish allergy so cannot buy anything with shrimp or crab in it. And since they finish each others food a lot, I can’t risk getting shrimp for her brother who will eat anything and wants to eat all day long. I would recommend this because they did love it at first. The price seemed to be about average. It looked good and smelled good. Seemed to be fresh and the quality looked good as well. I cannot honestly say if it is healthy or not. I would like to think the food I do get for them is healthy and try to avoid the corns and corn meals especially in dry foods. I am hoping they have simply changed their taste buds with winter around the corner and will go back to enjoying it again. If not I may update this review to lower the stars. But I believe it is simply my two spoiled babies just trying to pack on weight which means we may be in for a bad winter when animals do that. Just a thought. But for now I would recommend it does look really good and smells good as well.

Packaging is annoying but your cat will love the food
My cat effing loves these. Only negative is they are hard to get out of the package—like the food won’t just slide out—it’s vacuumed sealed to the container so you have to stick your finger or a spoon or something into the side of it to get the food to slide out. Also 2 servings come in a little cardboard package so you have to open the cardboard package, then open the individual package which is kind of annoying. The size is great though bc it’s a smaller amount than the small can of food so it’s good for holding my car over if he is screaming for more food after eating his daily can.

Great Choice for Cats Struggling With Appetite
I was looking for something my cat in renal failure would eat, since he has started turning down dry food, and his hunger comes in waves. With pate and any type of “chunks/ slices in gravy”, he only licks the liquid up, leaving the bulk behind.With these, the “mousse” texture, however, it is smooth enough that he’s able to lick it up easily. It has helped him to stay eating, and as a picky eater, he still loves all the flavors. Very grateful Fancy Feast now has a smoother, lickable food. Hopefully he holds out a while longer, but this food is giving us hope. ❤️

Won’t Buy Again
Not a fan of these. I decided to give my kitties a break from their usual gravy lovers well food and try these.While the shape is “fun”, I hated opening these and getting them out of the container. I always ended up with cat food juice on my hands and needed a knife to remove the food from the container as it didn’t just fall out.My cats enjoyed the jelly on top of the food, but only ate about 1/2 of the solid food. Unlike their other wet foods, they wouldn’t go back to finish it.I also thought they really smelled like “cat food.” I couldn’t wait to throw the uneaten portion away because of the strong smell.I’m sticking to the canned Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers from now on; they are easier to open, have a better small and my cats will eat their entire bowl.
