These throw a good amount of heat, and they’re not too fragile to handle. I use these for baking. They’re great for proofing yeast, and rising dough.

Lasting heat for the brooder
I have found no fault in this light and it has done its job well. Great quality heat lamp that last. Have raised a set of chickens with this light, with the lamp on 24/7 for several weeks.Only reason for 4stars is that it is a little bit more expensive than expected.

Well Packaged, Great for Brooding Chicks
These heat bulbs work perfectly in a standard, budget-friendly reflective brooder light fixture. The glass feels sturdy and well-made—definitely thicker than many others I’ve used. I’ve broken quite a few heat bulbs in the past, usually at the neck just above the threads, but these seem much more durable and better constructed in that vulnerable area.The multi-pack is a great value. Having extras on hand is a lifesaver—especially since I always seem to need a replacement right after the store closes and the chicks have just arrived!I was also pleasantly surprised by the packaging. I was initially concerned about ordering bulbs online due to the risk of breakage, but these were securely packed in molded plastic that kept each bulb separated and firmly in place. Not a single one was damaged in transit.

They do fit the standard E26 base. They seem to put out the expected amount of heat. I installed one in a bathroom to replace another burned out bulb. Tested the other three bulbs and they were all good.

Fits chicken brooder lamp, heats fast
I raise my own chicks and like to keep spare heat lamp bulbs. I got these a couple days before one of my bulbs died. This bulb was easy to screw in to the fixture and fit perfectly. I felt heat from the bulb right after I plugged it in. I keep my chicks in the greenhouse so I only use the lights at night except on chilly days. This bulb works great and there are 4 in the pack so I have spares for next year. Plus, these are cheaper than the other ones I bought last chick season.
