Best beef sticks!
I love Wenzel Farms beef sticks. They’re not greasy and all the flavors are good. The dill pickle and the jalapeno are my favorites but, I gladly eat the other flavors too. My whole family loves them. I’m a repeat customer. Give them a try.

Too salty/Pricey and not Resealable
I brought these with me on a 5 day business trip to CA/from FL. I had layovers both ways. They fit the bill to stave of hunger and the protein helped with maintaining my glucose levels. On the other hand I found them to be too salty thus obscuring the flavors. The flavors were quite a nice assortment which I could not enjoy because of the saltiness. Also very annoying was the packaging. I almost needed a teamster to open the package. They’re not resealable and both sticks are packaged together. I did not need to eat both but there is no way to keep the stick closed. Not cool when traveling. At this price point and my disappointment, I will not repurchase.

Great Flavor, Highly Preserved, Would be better single served
I’ve been trying all the different versions of meat sticks on Amazon. Out of the package, you can feel and taste the preservatives instantly. The sticks are quite greasy feeling and on top of the there are TWO of them in a pack. Somehow when I purchased these, I didn’t look at the description in detail enough because, the pictures did not highlight that. These like all meat sticks have a ton of sodium in them but i felt like these were pretty tasty. They felt more fatty than other beef sticks I’ve had as well. Finally, these have that typical “SLIM JIM” SNAP when eating.

Oh, the grease….
So, the flavor on these is….probably good. The texture is overshadowing, however, by a high amount of fat and grease. Can I taste the flavors? Yes–for a second before the fat comes into play. I appreciate the clarity of labeling and the gluten free aspect but they are very fatty. Probably GREAT if you are hiking and need that fat for energy, but for riding in the car, it leads to frequent rest stops.
