Only Launch Forward FORWARD Mode
When the LAUNCH indicator light is on, the launcher is in Forward Mode. This mode is designed to train your dog’s straight-line running and chasing abilities, helping to improve their speed and endurance.
If an obstacle or pet is detected, the launcher will continuously beep until the obstacle is cleared.

Automatic Obstacle Avoidance for Safe Launches RANDOM Mode
When the RANDOM indicator light is on, the launcher is in Random Mode. The ball will be launched from random three directions—left, center, or right—adding fun and challenge while boosting your dog’s reaction speed and agility.
If an obstacle or pet is detected, the launcher will try a different direction until no obstacles are detected.
Note: During the first use of the iRetriever Ball Launcher, there may be some variance in launch distance due to insufficient gear friction. After launching approximately 20-30 times, the launch distance should stabilize and meet the advertised distance.
Why doesn’t the launch distance match the advertised distance?
Our ball launcher uses rotating flywheels to launch the ball through friction. If the ball gets wet with slobber, it can affect the launch distance. We recommend checking the ball and wiping it dry before using it again for the best performance.
Why does the device only beep without launching the ball, even when there are no obstacles in front?
The sensors can detect not only people and pets but also other static objects. Indoor use may cause false triggers due to interference from furniture. For best results, ensure the launcher is used in an open area.
Can more than one ball be placed in the launcher at a time?
For optimal performance, the ball launcher is designed to hold only one ball at a time. Please ensure that there are no balls in the launcher before loading a new one.

Fun ball launcher perfect for all dogs!
We recently purchased the Uahpet iRetriever Automatic Dog Ball Launcher and are excited to share our experience with this amazing product. It’s super easy to set up and came fully charged, ready for immediate use. The adjustable distance settings are fantastic, allowing us to customize it for use at the park, in our backyard, or indoors. The ball itself is soft, durable, and safe for our dog, and we appreciate that it doesn’t bounce, preventing it from rolling into the street or a neighbor’s yard. The obstacle detection feature, which adds an extra layer of safety for our pet. Our dog absolutely loves it, he patiently waits every time we bring it out. An fun product for all dogs!

Waste of money, barely lasts a month.
This is the second one I bought, first one last a month before it wouldn’t turn on at all, now this second one is making a terrible noise when it winds up to toss the ball. I expect it will not work very shortly, conveniently less than a week outside its return window. A two hundred dollar dog toy is a big risk, I took it twice, and now I’m sorry I did. Terrible shame because my dog loved it. Do not waste your money 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

The Uah Pet ball launcher is honestly the coolest thing we’ve ever bought. Sammy loves playing fetch every single day, and sometimes my shoulder is already sore but he’s still full of energy and not ready to stop. This thing has been a total game changer for us.It has a setting to launch the ball straight ahead or you can put it on random so it shoots in different directions, which keeps Sammy extra excited. You can also pick from 3 different distance settings, which is perfect for when we’re outside in the yard or inside on a rainy day.It came with 4 adorable balls and a charger. We’ve been using it for a week and haven’t even had to charge it yet. Sammy absolutely loves it. I still have to teach him how to drop the ball into the launcher himself, but that’s part of the fun.We’ve been having the best time with it and I honestly wish we got it sooner. If your dog loves fetch, this will make both of you so happy.

Love, Love, Love this toy
We’ve had this ball launcher for about a week now and I don’t know who loves it more. It’s either our family or our Ball tenacious princess. The instructions are pretty straightforward and it only took my 10-year-old daughter about an hour or so to teach the dog the concept of fetch and return back to drop the ball in the top of the machine. In the beginning, we had to lure her over with treats, and she would have to drop the ball in order to take the treat which seemed to do the trick pretty quickly. There are four different distances you can use and we actually used it indoors for the training. Then when she got the hang of it, we took her outside and used GT mode to have it launch across our backyard it truly held up to the distance advertised as long as the ball was dry. After she was doing it, 20 or 30 times, her mouth was full of slobber, and the distance got shorter and shorter so it’s not a bad idea to dry them off in between launches or alternate the balls so you can dry off another one in rotation.It’s nice that it will also run off of batteries and not have to be plugged in so you can use it remotely without being tethered to electricity.All in all, this is a super fun toy and great when you need a breather from the constant throw and fetch dog that we have

Works well except when ball is wet
Doesn’t work at full capacity when ball gets wet which it does being in the dogs mouth. When the ball is fresh & dry it works as expected. But can’t provide the intended use for my dog to entertain herself at times.

A must buy for smart dogs
Our 1 year old Australian Shepherd loves this toy since he’s been 8 weeks old. It’s been a year and he has yet to learn to place the ball into the machine for relaunch. He is so smart that he has however learned how the machine cycles to know when the ball is about to be ejected. Rather than chasing a ball ejected 20’, he hangs his head over the ejection hole and catches the ball as it is being ejected. Also since he’s learned the machine’s cycle and the partial effectiveness of the sensor that is meant to prevent the machine from ejecting while the dog is in front of the launcher, he body blocks the ball, taking the hit to get the ball upon launch. If we thought he was being injured we’d stop this interaction, but since he loves it so much and it’s hilarious to watch we’re enjoying taking videos of his delight with the launcher. A must buy.

Good way to keep your dog entertained!
Wonderful product.The Uahpet Retriever is a great way to keep your dog entertained and helps them burn energy. Auahpet offers different speeds launching settings great for all types of dogs. With it long-lasting rechargeable battery, it’s a great product to take anywhere. My dog really enjoyed it and it was easy enough for my kids to use it. I love the sensor because it keep eveone safe while the balls are being launched. Overall a great product.

Where to start?
I researched for hours and days and this kept popping up. I have a 90 pound lab that LOVES the ball. This was kind of unsafe. Although it has the feature to not pop anything in front of it, if there was, the little engine would essentially keep revving up. By the time my dog understood to move it would be so revved up, it would pop it over 100 ft away (even though it was set on the lowest). The machine would also get “tired” after a few rounds and would throw it to unpredictable ranges. I lost 3 balls to this and it just wasn’t consistent enough for me to feel safe my dog wouldn’t get hit or go across to the street or something.Teaching my dog wasn’t that bad but he is a big guy so he would boop the machine with his nose and it would tumble over.Ended up returning it. Love the concept but it’s not there yet.
