Would buy again, super cheap
You get what you get for the price you pay, or in this case a bit more. I purchased this one because it was the cheapest I could find (when it was on sale), and it exceeded my expectations. I purchased one before this that was more expensive and felt almost unusable because of it’s quality, and the Tpotato one greatly surpassed the other in terms of build quality.It works and it works well, I haven’t been using the file but it feels pretty sturdy. The little cup under the clippers to prevent cutting the quick is pretty useful for fine trimming but if you have a big dog like me you end up needing to cut a bit more off. Still, useful to have on there in case I ever need it. Highly recommend buying this if you need a cheap pair of trimmers for any sized dog!

Pawsitively Perfect: Sharp & Safe Dog Nail Clippers
The clipper work well. However, I thought they would be a little stronger in the handles. They are not flimsy but my corgis wiggle around so I really need a hardy strong handle so as to when I go to cut there is no hesitation of the cutter. I would have preferred them to be a bit stronger. But they get the job done. And I like the file that came with them.

Saving TONS by doing this at home
These cutters definitely pay for themselves fast, especially with how fast my girl’s nails grow! I may have a slightly easier time with them since I’ve worked with dogs on and off for a decade, but they’re very straightforward, as long as you aren’t nervous + have a basic understanding of how your pet’s anatomy works. Granted, if you’re capable of making your dog sit still long enough to use, these are a quick and easy way of trimming a dog’s nails. I will say it takes a little bit of effort to cut through each nail, but I think they’re definitely worth buying as a budget option. I’ll also give it some slack, with a dog’s nails being pretty solid, but they definitely cut quick and easy if you have better grip strength (and bigger hands) than I do. The safety guide is also very useful, and my only small gripe being that you have to make sure the previous nail hasn’t gotten wedged between the guide and the blades. Be prepared for them to otherwise go flying across the floor!
