Exactly as described, every cat uses it
These are AMAZING. They have been used by every cat in have and every friends cats i have lent them to.They do seem to reduce pain and are also just enjoyed for warmth.I just wish tge outside cover was removable for washing, the Knead idms better for tgat and just as popular *except * with cats that prefer to sprawl.I would very much like a larger size with a larger warming area. The dog bed version available has the same size hearing g pad just a larger mattress around it, so it doesn’t really do well treating the whole body of larger pets.

Great for Arthritic Cats!
I had originally purchased this in October 2022 for my senior boy cat. A couple of weeks later, I helped him cross the rainbow bridge, and so, the bed sat unplugged and unused for a while.I recently noticed my senior girl struggling to jump/climb as much as she used to, so the bed came back out, got plugged back in. I have noticed a tremendous difference in how she carries herself now. The bed seems to work very well for her – she seems much more comfortable when she is moving. While she isn’t jumping up as much as she used to, she’s no longer moving slow when she’s jumping up or down from other furniture.My middle aged cat also loves this bed when its on as well. As far as I can tell, she is otherwise totally fine, and seems to just like the heat.

Both cats want the bed, it seems very cozy
I bought this for my elderly cat who has never liked any cat bed. I probably bought four over her 17 years that she was never interested in and I ended up gifting or donating. I could tell her joints were getting stiff and I wanted her to have some relief. I’m not sure that it should cost as much as it does, but I will say that she immediately discovered it on her own and obviously enjoyed the heat, which was noticeable but not too warm. Then my young cat sort of commandeered this bed and my older one stopped using it. I like how the bottom of this bed is removable and easily washable, because after I got rid of the young cat’s scent, (and kept him out of the room) my elderly cat was able to resume her daily heat therapy and seems very comforted by it. It is big enough for her to stretch out and the thick high walls makes sure there is no rolling out. She sleeps very well. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the price. I don’t know why it’s such a premium price, but you do get what you pay for, and I have a feeling this bed will last long enough to be passed on to my young boy, until his bones begin to ache in his later years down the road.

Very hard bed, uncomfortable for arthritic cat
The bed is really hard and doesn’t get warm/hot except on the bottom. Useless for a cat with arthritis. Returned it.

Fits our need perfectly
We have two and love them. We like the idea of the infrared heat so this fits the bill for our two smaller pups that are always cold. We throw a towel or light blanket over it and they bury into there “little dens”.

My cat could not love her bed more
I bought this bed on a whim because I had decided to stop with the arthritis injections that I was giving my cat for safety reasons. She is 17 years old and I know that she struggles with arthritis pain. I have bought her beds before and she always gravitate to the dog beds instead. However, she absolutely LOVES this bed…to the point that time she would have spent snuggling with me, she is in her bed instead (the only negative). Whether it helps her or not, I cannot tell but it makes her happy and that is all that really matters but it has to feel good on her achey joints.

My cat loves it and is sleeping better through the night! I wish there was a bigger size. So happy to have this option vs. a heating pad that turns on and off and its challenging to manage the heat level. love this – there should be more of these for all sizes of pets!!

Great for older cats
I purchased this bed for my 17 year old cat who was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer. Prior to her diagnosis, it was clear she was dealing with some pain because she couldn’t jump up or down from the bed, and she walked with a strange crick in her tail. Since buying this bed, which she and all the other cats love, her energy has improved, her mobility has improved, and she has started running around and playing. At first I wasn’t sure about this bed because it is actually rather hard, except for the bolstered sides. I was worried it would be uncomfortable, but apparently that isn’t the case.
