Maybe my favorite Amazon purchase ever…..
This kennel is legit amazing!! I am so glad we found it! I think it may be my favorite Amazon purchase ever, but most definitely the best purchase of 2024.We take our little, old kitty (Jill) along with us when we travel. She’s in end stage kidney disease and needs daily fluids and medication, but she won’t allow our kitty sitter to do those things.Jill is a great traveler, and she has traveled well in a traditional pet carrier in the past. However, she can no longer travel for hours without needing her litter box. We needed an enclosure that was big enough to hold her in her bed, her litter box, plus food and water, but did not take up the entire back of our SUV. We also wanted a kennel that was lightweight and did not take up much storage space.Then I happened to find this wonderful pop-up kennel!!! It is THE perfect solution for our situation. It offers plenty of space when opened, but doesn’t take up the cargo space in our SUV. It is big enough to hold Jill’s litter box, bed, plus food and water. It is held securely in place using bilateral seatbelt loops on the rear of the kennel, as well as bilateral straps that hang around the headrests. Plus it stores compactly when not in use.Jill has been able to rest comfortably, and use her litter box as needed during our trips. She used her box twice during our last 5 hour trip. We do keep the kennel covered with a sheet while moving, to help her stay calm, give litter box privacy, and keep the sun from shining directly onto her bed.There are only two small things I don’t love about the kennel.1. You can only open the kennel using the doors on both ends. I wish it had a zipper in the middle of the front, or across the top. If I need to clean her box or refill water while at a rest area, I have to open the SUV door, then open the kennel door to do those things, which briefly leaves space through which a quick, young cat might want to escape. (Luckily Jill is old and slow, and just lays in her bed.) It’s also not super easy to get kitty out of the kennel through these doors at your destination. Jill never wants to get out into her regular carrier, so we typically just remove the litter box, unbuckle the straps, then move the whole kennel with her inside. This is best done with two people. At least this way we don’t have to worry about her getting loose and running away in an unfamiliar place.2. I think it would be very difficult for one person to close the kennel down for storage. Recruit as assistant when you are ready to fold the kennel for storage. It requires both ends to be twisted in opposite directions, which is most easily done with two people.This kennel could work well for traveling with 2 cats, if they don’t need a litter box.

Comfortable Safe Keeping for Pet Travel
I highly recommend this well ventilated vehicle carrier for your pets! I found both the value and quality to be superb. This was an excellent purchase that alleviated a lot of stress regarding the eleven hour move to the east coast with my two big boy kitties. The size is perfect for the backseat of my Volvo station wagon. The doors and closing mechanisms are sturdy with no chance of opening during transit. I utilized the headrest straps as well as the seat belt loops at the back to keep it snug. I found a neat pet crate accessory on Amazon that attached perfectly on each door, and there was room for a travel litter box. It folded up to its original size in less than a minute! I love it so much I emailed the company and they actually responded with a lovely message. As can be seen in the photos, I added a plywood topper (supported by the heavy duty end pieces) to enable moving more things in the car. It was packed to the gills, but the kitties were comfy the whole time. No probs!

Incredible Travel Kennel!
Bought this to make a long car ride with 2 of my cats (about 18 lbs each) and these boys had more than enough room in there together. The first ride we ever took with the cats we had to turn around because the regular cat carriers gave the cats severe anxiety and we were fearful for their well being if we continued.Fortunately with this carrier both boys fit along with a small litter box, blanket, and plenty of extra space for them. I honestly do not know if we would have been able to make this long of a drive without buying this. I truly believe the visibility from inside, the amount of space, and the openness really helped make them feel comfortable.The best part about this also came at the end when we arrived and were able to fold it up into a small cube and tuck it away until we need it again! Great product, I would highly recommend this!Also, due to the material I would also recommend trimming your pets nails if possible just to prevent any unnecessary damage to the carrier. We did this and the carrier still looks good as new!

Keep the cat contained with a little leg room
Took our cat on a 19 hr trip to Florida. I can’t leave him uncontained bc he get into everything even under my feet obstructing pedal operation and in my face obstructing view. I wanted something large enough so that he could move around and have room for a small litter box, food & water dishes. This did the trick, he was happy 9.5 hrs a day for 2 days. I knocked off a star because there’s no way to secure it in the car (like a seat belt harness) but other than that it worked well, is light weight, folds up into the included carrying pouch and very portable.

Very useful for out-of-state move!
This made my 10 hour drive with two cats soooo much better than putting them in their normal carriers. Getting it installed in the car was super easy. Compared to other car cages, this felt more secure as the seatbelts anchored it in place. The instructions were clear. I know some people complained they could not get it folded back up correctly after but I had no problems. It took twisting it 3 or 4 times until the edges lined up, then the clips worked great. The size fit from door to door on my Honda Crv back seat. As other reviewers stated, there is not a solid bottom so this cannot be used to transport the cats from car to destination, so it did take some effort to transport kitties from a smaller carrier to the car carrier, and then from the car into a smaller carrier to exit the vehicle. However the size was great, there was room for a small litter box, water and food bowl on the opposite side, a blanket, toys; and then both cats chose to cuddle next to each other in the middle where they could see up to the front seats. Very very happy!

El material de las puertas es algo frágil, pedí dos transportadoras de este tipo, una me llegó ya rota de una puerta pero por la urgencia no solicité ninguna devolución, realicé mi viaje con mis mascotas y al concluirlo 3/4 puertas ya estaban rotas del seguro
