Good tie out
Very secure tie out for my 80lbs collie. I have this attached to my house, and its worked very well for me to bring one end into my back screen door, attach it to my dog and let him out without standing in the rain. It’s very bright and you can see it really well. It doesn’t tangle up. It’s thin but not weak, and it has support attachments on possible wearing weak points. I would 100% buy this tie out again, and hope to get a longer one soon.

PERFECT for my new dog! It was easy to use and looks terrific. It is sturdy and durable and she has not gotten out of it once. (Tho she has pulled her collar off with it attached – but that is her problem and not the product’s fault). It doesn’t tangle on itself – but my dog surely does get tangled running around trees or other things – again, not a fault of the product but the fault of my dog.). It can be frustrating to attach it to her when she is excited – the screw on the carabiner latch takes time to screw on or off and an excited dog doesn’t make it easy – but that’s really just a minor inconvenience. Aside from that, it was a great buy.

This is a nice, durable and good quality tie-out cable. My pup is 35 pounds of energy, and trust me when I say that watching him lunge against this thing for several minutes while he got used to the idea as I was cutting the lawn was a little nerve wracking. The tie-out I tried before this one? The top of it pulled right off at the clasp the first time my puppy pulled against it. The Snagle Paw is very good quality and I believe “heavy duty” is an accurate description.

Quality Product that Lasts!
I just ordered my second one. After needing to replace my other tie out cables in less than a year and most of the time within months, I can happily report that this brand lasted for 3 years! At first when I tried to purchase again by finding my prior purchase it said it was no longer available and I was extremely disappointed. My thought was, here we go again with trial and error every 2-4 months again. While searching for another cable like theirs with the carbine clip, I found the same product from the same seller as last time. Needless to say that made my day. Not only do I have a good quality product at a reasonable price but their customer service was excellent as well. I had an issue with the very first cable they sent me but they replaced quickly with no hassle at all. As long as I own a dog, I will be purchasing my cables from here. Thank you Snaggle Paw Direct! Before my dog was a year old she had already broken 3 other out door tie outs. The last one was for 500 poundsShe is 14 months now, and pulled out and bent the stake in the ground but has not yet been able to break this 1000 pound tie out.Now I know why the Cane Corso is considered to be one of the “Power Breeds”

I purchased these dog tethers to use with my daughters 2 big dogs I was looking after on our acerage ,these allowed the dogs to be in the yard with out fear of them running away.I have used similar tethers in the past the only draw back is the dogs can easily get tangled up around deck posts and shrubs,the tethers themselves are very strong cable so didn’t break or the dogs couldn’t chew through them ,I also found the caribiner style hooks worked well but they did get worn a bit near concrete if they dragged so something to watch for

With a generous 30ft lead, this gives him plenty of room to play and move, while being secure in the yard. Our backyard is not secure and our dog could get out if he was off-leash. So, we do not want him to get loose and potentially harmed, so this is a great alternative to keeping him inside.When we visit family, he loves their backyard. Unfortunately, there is a fence that he can jump over way too easy. This lead allows us to secure him to the deck post, while allowing him to freely move around the backyard.We have only been able to try this lead once, so far. The weather really was not warm enough to be outdoors for any extra-curricular playtime. However, it does work very well and does not seem to impede his movement or ability to play freely. The hooks rotate and the spring allows for gentle boundary pushing without him being yanked backwards when he reaches the end of his lead. Before connecting our doggo to the lead, I stretched it out and mentally mapped where the endpoint was in different areas of the yard. We make sure that all of his toys, beds, and snacks/water are within this boundary so the limits are not pushed. We also make certain that WE are in this limit also.With one one use of this so far, we are really looking forward to using this elsewhere with the warmer months on the horizon. At this point, I cannot say anything but wonderful things about this product, however this may change in time. With the material and the quality of this product, I do think it will be durable over time. This is to be seen, especially with more frequent uses.This system does come in other lengths, ranging from 10feet to 200feet in length. The 30 foot works well with the property size we have and that of what we visit most frequently.Recommended.In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.
