Finally made the switch and think this was an excellent choice!
So, I finally decided to switch to this brand after trying the Robot 3 for the past 4 years and was constantly getting stuck mid spin, was a pain to clean and the liner not dropping as intended. Couldn’t justify an almost yearly $600 expense or constant calls to support for help. So far (and will update after some use) this seems much less likely to give me problems.Pros vs my previous RB3:- Much Quieter, i saw some mentioned it was a bit noisy but this is extremely quiet compared to the RB3- Cycle stops if anything enters the entrance (head, paws, etc). This is much better than weight sensor – previously my cat would sit on the edge and bat at the waste as it was dropping.- The vent is a nice touch if you have an area you can vent it to. I plan to do that but will take a little extra work.- The app seems easy enough and provides all that I would think one would need, took some time trying to connect until I figured out it would ONLY connect to the 2G network (wouldn’t connect to main or 5G). Never used previous model app so no comparison here.- Components and main compartment seem like they will be much easier to clean.- I like that the litter is a square section as opposed to a round space, might not matter but seemed odd and constantly had urine on the sides as there was no defined space in a dome.- There seems to only be one light/indication for it to stop which is a full bin. Previous model had about 3 different lights/patters for different issues it could be which were constantly making the unit stop mid cycle.- Much easier to pick up and move around compared to trying to maneuver a big dome shape.Cons:- The inside space does seem a bit smaller than RB3 model but still sufficient for most cats. Might be a problem for those cats who don’t like the confinement.- I had a little ramp on the RB3, not sure this comes with anything like that so might be an issue for any cats with mobility issues. Shouldn’t be a problem for my cat.- There isn’t enough space to have any kind of litter guard for those who have cats that like to fling litter everywhere.- As others have mentioned, the calibration is odd that it requires 11lbs and more annoying than that is, they don’t have the calibration process in the instructions until after the add litter instructions so most likely, this will have to be done after the first cleaning cycle when you’ve dumped everything out again.Update – I’ve had this now for about 7 months. I gave up on connecting it since it’s such a hassle, and living in S Florida, we have a lot of power outages from storms but it hasn’t been that important to have up-to-date info on potty time for me. I will say the biggest con for me so far with this thing is the bagging situation. It’s absolutely horrendous trying to wrestle a bag around 6 tiny little tabs. You can’t just put the bag around the whole tray or it will read as full. That has been awful but I will say that the ease of cleaning this thing over my previous model, makes up for it so I’m not taking off any stars.

This automatic cat litter machine is arguably the best investment I’ve made since getting a cat! Installation is surprisingly easy, even one person can do it. Operation is also very intuitive, controlled via a mobile app, allowing you to check your cat’s usage history and weight changes at any time. It’s a truly technological experience. The cleaning function is incredibly intelligent, cleaning the machine at the scheduled time every time after my cat is finished. It’s virtually odorless and operates very quietly. The sensor is incredibly sensitive, automatically stopping when a cat approaches, giving you a complete sense of security. Its large capacity means I can use it for days without worrying about it. The overall build quality is sturdy, lightweight, and beautiful. My cat was a little curious at first, but now he’s completely comfortable with it and often uses it to lie down on his own. I think it’s truly improved both my cat’s and my quality of life, and we’re both very satisfied. It’s truly excellent value for money!

I have 4 cats and very pleased with this automatic self cleaning litter machine that also looks very modern and stylish in the house. It comes already assembled to there is not much one needs to do as its ready to go. Smart app feature is also such a good added bonus. I had previously used automatic litter boxes but the noise was scaring my cats and disturbing my infant. This is one is way quieter comparing to older ones. Everything these days automatic and “smart” that makes things way easier. Its really big enough to accommodate multiple cats in the household. Pictures bellow to show how adorable and stylish it is. PS: it also works better on illuminating the odor.
