This is the best leash on the market. Extra long and sturdy. Great value for the money. The latch is a little tricky but once you get the hang of it this is hands down the best leash I’ve ever purchased.

It locks the leash to easily but works good. my dog is scared of it but he’s scared of almost everything definitely a good value for the money. I wish it would lock after you press the button and slide the lock back rather than you press the button and it locks the leash and you have to slide up the release up to unlock the leash

Seems like a good product.
We dog-sit a Weiner dog often and got this to take him on walks easier. Build quality seems good, the latch mechanism is a little different than normal, but very intuitive, and even an upgrade from the normal mechanism, colors are bright so my mother-in-law can find it easily.Only possible con is that the latch is pretty heavy, and the retracting spring is also very strong, so if you aren’t careful, you’ll get your knuckles cracked by the metal hasp. Super minor thing that isn’t worth taking a star away from, and is honestly even a plus in my book since it’s two signs of build quality.

It only lasted 16 months
Meh. Only lasted a little over a year. The sprockets inside wore down and it would no longer lock. Liked the length. The Tangle-Free Retract worked most of the time. But as the months went on, it tangled more and more. Nice large clasp worked great.

Great longer length leash!!
Good quality, I like the longer length of this leash compared to most (12/15 ft). I have a big 90 lb Great Pyrenees girl and the brake stops her with no problem. Have had 3 months now with no issues. The grip is comfortable and big enough to attach my matching poop bag dispenser to without any interference.

My 2-yr-old blonde lab loves the lead.
We used this leash for our “new” girl. Yes, we went pink….in a house full of boys…do you blame us? It is usable for our 2-year-old, BUT she loves to pull. Keep the lock in mind. It works wonderfully. Will recommend it every time.

I bought this lead 6 months ago to replace an older one. (same length) – I only mention this as it is not the first retractable lead I have used. Unfortunately, this one is useless but more importantly dangerous! My dog nearly got run over twice in so many weeks because the lead got stuck and didn’t retract as it should have which meant that I couldn’t pull my dog out off the road as fast as I should have been able to. Which is what prompted me to write this review.Most of the time, when it is extended, I have to use 2 hands to get it to retract: one to press on the release ‘button’ and the other to loosen the lead so it retracts. The one start is for the bright colour (and the fact that there is no zero star!). I would definitely avoid this brand.

It looks exactly like the picture and it’s super easy to attach to the harness. It’s easy to lock and unlock at the length you want or need it at. The price is amazing too. It was double the price for one of these at the pet store.It feels sturdy and the plastic is thick, giving it a good quality feel

It’s true it doesn’t retract so fast that the heavy latch at the end whips you in the face and breaks your nose if a dog isn’t attached to the end, but I’ve had no problems with it retracting quickly enough when my dog gets the zoomies and is running back and forth at top German Shepherd speed. I have zero issues with the locking mechanism, but my husband constantly complains that he can’t operate it and refuses to use the leash. I’ve been using it for more than a month and it still operates perfectly.

This is a fantastic leash. Great length for walking or just taking our new dog around the yard. The lock engages quite easily, the only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because it takes a second or two to disengage the lock which can be a little irritating as you are walking. Otherwise it’s great.
