great for more harness-shy dogs!
My dog really dislikes harnesses. Minute she sees a harness coming her way its head down, tail tucked, trying to turn away, the whole ordeal. Thankfully I have no reason or need to use a harness, but I’d love for her to at least be neutral towards them and not to hate them so much.Going by the size chart I got a medium, and I did have to do a couple double checks on the sizing and if it matched what I ordered when it arrived. It seemed super tiny! But once I had adjusted it to near its longest length it was all good, fit as it should with my dog being right at or just under the maximum girth for the size. VERY lightweight, which was just what we needed. She even took a 3 hour nap after I put it on the first time just to adjust it, had me in a tiny bit of joyful shock tbh. There’s the classic loop for a light attachment on top, which is right below a tiny velcro pouch flat against the top, then the buckle at the very back. I really like the buckle, it seems very sturdy. and the velcro pouch could hold something very small I guess, wouldn’t fit anything I need so I don’t see myself using it. Maybe i’ll put a 20 in there to forget about and then be excited when I find it again.Where a front buckle would usually be it’s just a thinnish loop of rope, not like the buckle at all, so you’re out of luck if you’re someone who relies on that to “stop your dog from pulling”(remember that it actually only physically does, it doesn’t teach them to stop pulling! When my dog finally got loose leash walking it was such a breath of fresh air, took months though. Worth it.)I haven’t used it a lot or often, so I can’t speak on the durability just yet. I mostly just put it on so she can start to be more comfortable with having a harness on, and I don’t clip the leash to the harness but to her collar like usual(except for long lines, because its always getting tangled under her legs lol).Is this a harness i’d trust her to fling her full weight against without me worrying it’ll break? no, not really. the actual harness part is very small, and then the rest is just the adjustment belt. Since she was so close to the maximum girth size, it’s more of the adjustment belt rope than actual harness, which is part of why i’d be uneasy about excessive force against it on her part. Not saying it would instantly tear off of her like the Hulk’s clothes, but I can see the buckle giving up after a few full weight lunges.Overall, it’s ruffwear. You’re getting quality whatever harness type you choose from them. This harness, in my opinion, seems best for dogs on the smaller size, big dogs that would never throw their whole weight against it, or for dogs who dislike harnesses who need to start with a lightweight harness. Here are her stats in case it will help around: she’s around around 80lbs, 31”girth, 19” around the shoulders, 25” AT the shoulder, 25” back(base of neck to base of tail).

A great harness so far!
I have an American Staffy mix and I really like the lightweight but still strong and durable construction of this harness. And it dries (and cleans) very quickly – a great thing for rainy areas! I’m not certain I would trust the front “hook” but the metal top hook is great and holds up well (my senior dog doesn’t pull but 1 reactive dog and 1 dog with a high prey drive I help care for both have this same harness). My senior seems very comfortable wearing this possibly because it’s lightweight or because it’s not bulky or the ease of putting it on – or a combination of everything maybe. There are cheaper and more expensive harnesses out there BUT I knew what I was getting (because of the client dogs) and feel it was money well spent and in a decent midrange price. I keep poop bags on the leash but I like putting an “emergency” bag in the pocket for those times when life happens. My client dog (high prey drive) tucks an gps air tag in that pocket since there is a loop in there so that’s an option too.

Lightweight but still very durable
Great harness. I really like that it is lightweight and flexible but still very durable. It’s easy to put on and take off.

Beautiful Harness – Just A Little Too Long + Loose
We wanted a more lightweight option for our Mini Aussie (23#) and went with this beautiful reddish-orange/neon yellow (AKA Lichen Green) color in Small. Well, the reviews are definitely correct. It is made to fit longer dogs and the fit IS quite different from their regular harness. We decided to keep it, however, and sometimes I question whether that was the right choice or not. The XS was too small….like for a Chihuahua. I was afraid he would break it or the straps would be uncomfortable because of how narrow they were. The issue with the Small is that it’s too long and loose at the neck. About 4x a week he will wake up and the harness shifted to where his legs are both on one side of the harness. That could be a safety risk if he was left unsupervised. I will say, the harness looks beautiful on him, it performs fine, and is easy to adjust and buckle, it is just a bit off in fit. I wish that they would come out with another lightweight version since it seems others have the same problem.

Great harness. User friendly
I bought this harness because the other one I owned was not user friendly for anyone but me and I was leaving my dog with a sitter. This is a super intuitive slip over the head and buckle the buckles type harness, so it needs no instruction. My parents have since said this harness is “so much better” than the old one, and my boyfriend no longer takes 3 minutes to get the dog out the door. It’s pretty durable. We have been using it for 3 months of constant use (but mostly just potty breaks since my dog is elderly) and it looks brand new. It’s easy to adjust, but make sure you know your dog’s measurements because the structure of this harness doesn’t make it endlessly adjustable. There is no padding, but it’s nice and soft on the part that touches the dog. And I don’t remember what I paid but it was definitely reasonable for the product and it has lasted us a long time. The only thing I will say is that I don’t trust the chest clip. The previous harness is the only one I’ve ever found with a metal chest clip for leashes and I have a 70 lb pittie that can pull me off my feet if I’m not paying attention. The chest clip on this is some kind of fabric, and I’m sure it’s strong, but it’s not 70 lb pittie on a mission strong. So we have to use the clip on the back for this harness. That’s fine because my dog no longer really goes on walks or has that much energy, but it would not have been as workable for us even a couple years ago.

Great for dachshunds
Our dachshund wouldn’t even walk 1/2 mileuntil we got him this harness. He walked 2 miles today and even kept up with his large golden doodle siblings! The fit is perfect and the clips and buckles are very quality. The leash is really nice too that we got to match it.

Our dog loves it and so do we! Having a harness for walking a French Bulldog makes all the difference. He’s more comfortable, and when necessary we have more control. The harness looks like a cute little backpack and the color is great too! Very high quality material. For French Bulldogs, I would recommend going up one size just to be sure it fits. We went with the large and I had to extends the torso straps out to their fullest extent to comfortably fit our dog.
