Very happy with this, getting a second for my 2 dogs
I bought this to replace one of my retractable leashes but I love it and it’s much nicer than the one I had so I’m getting second – I have 2 beaglesThe only thing I’d caution is the hole for your hand is smaller than others I’ve had which is not an issue for me it still fits perfect but if you have larger hands check dimensions before purchase

Very difficult to use, has problems
Difficult to hold. Difficult to use.I wanted to like this retractable leash but it is not the best option and it has problems.1. The handle is for a large grip so it is not for smaller or women’s hands.2. The leash itself is a strip rather than a cord so when it retracts it folds and twists and gets stuck in the casing.3. The mechanism to stop the leash is a slide lever which you have to push forward with your thumb. Most retractable leashes use a button to quickly stop the leash allowing it to retract and control your pet. This mechanism is not very intuitive as you have to push the opposite direction you want your pet to go and it does not allow for quick reaction to pull your pet in.I will be returning it. Too many issues to overcome.

Durable, it stretches out, but if you push the button, the leash stays at that length. The handle is a little larger than others I have used, but it is practical. Locks easily. Color is cute.

The price was so good, I didn’t expect them to be as nice as they are. I bought 2 of these leashes for less than I paid for a different brand, that wasn’t as nice. These leashes are very sturdy and nice. They feel like they are very well made. I feel like they are going to hold up well.Update: The gray leash, I purchased in March of 2023 broke on Feb 5/24. The leash would not retract. I made an attempt to fix, the leash, to no avail. The actual leash had somehow slipped off of the spool and knotted.Even though the leash was purchased in March, it wasn’t really used until August. Our dog is chihuahua/rat terrier/Jack Russell mix and only weighs 8 lbs. We use the leash several times a day, for very short distance potty breaks, and one longer walk a day. The blue leash I purchased at the same time that was used a lot from March to August is still working.
