Convenient and works very well
I love the 26 ft. length retractable leash. I ordered 1 for myself, found that I liked it and it functioned well and later ordered 1 for a friend. These worked for both a 26 lb. Aust. Cattle dog and a 48 lb. Pointer. The extra long length gives the dog more room to wander and is convenient for potty breaks where you can stay by the door and let your dog do their thing if you are unable to get around well. The case is a little bigger in order to accommodate the substantial woven ribbon-style leash and handle but that was expected. We have no problem with that. This works for my 26 lb. cattle dog that is on the smaller side of medium, but also sturdy enough for a larger dog that will pull to test the 26 ft. length. It may not hold for a large dog running at top speed to the 26 ft. limit, but I don’t know of any that would. You know your dog and have to judge by that. It may also be a bit cumbersome and heavy for a very small dog as there is a small amount of resistance that a more delicate little dog may not like. I would recommend this product, and have. I have no complaints after using it for the last 6-7 months and my friend does not, either. Price is also good for quality.

The BEST DOG Retractable Soft Tape Leash, Sturdy 26 Ft leash ever!!!
I have bought many retractable leash. This by far is THE BEST!Sturdy, soft tape, quickly retracts, locks, quality carabiner hardware, great price. I bought a 2nd one as spare. I may buy a few more. It’s that Awesome. Especially for strong smaller dogs that you give extra leads to run. It helps protects them if you get longer than mostly sold 16ft tape. 26ft is perfect. No more hurting them with short leads tape lines. The tape is soft and won’t hurt your hands if you need to pull it back. The retractable gears are tough. Locks are better. It’s light weight. My dog doesn’t bite on the tape so this will last. Only thing is I need to wrap the handles and body of the retractable portion with some soft wiring harness tape or bike handle tape. So if I drop on concrete will not Crack it.

26 Feet!!!
Let her run! I have a very young Border Collie that needs a lot of exercise and a leash this long works really well. She can sprint out and come back and the leash winds back up very quickly, so therefore she doesn’t get tangled up in it. It takes a little bit of a learning curve to use the lock button, it’s a good feature when you want the dog to walk with a smaller amount of leash. The “nylon?” is very strong, however my dog’s teeth are stronger and she likes to bite at the leash sometimes. So, it was starting to tear in places, so my wife cut off about a foot of the leash and sewed it back on the clasp so all is still good. Now she has a 25 foot leash!

Works well for walks
This works well and seems very sturdy. I didn’t give it 5 stars for a few reasons: it is heavy and my hand does get a little tired after a long walk. I don’t know if they are all like this due to the amount of leash that needs to be packed into the handle. Also, sometimes the leash stops retracting because it has to be pulled out slightly first to activate it. That annoys me because we could come across something that needs me to take quick action to retract the leash, and I have to think about that first and make it happen. Other than that, I think it’s a good basic leash.

Piece of garbage!
I just purchased two of these leashes. It’s difficult for me not to cuss in this review, that’s how bad this product is. I brought my two dogs camping, tied them up with the leashes by wrapping them around a picnic table and literally within 10 minutes they were both broken. I kept re tying them together and they would break again with such ease. These leashes are pieces of JUNK.😡
