Paw-sitively the Best Dog Shoes Ever – Durable, Cute, and Stay On
These dog shoes are absolutely amazing! I have a 20 lb Yorkiepoo and a 6 lb Toy Poodle, and both have been wearing them for over a year—for everything from quick potty breaks to long, active walks by the lake. They stay on securely, even when my dogs are running, and they’re a total lifesaver on damp, rainy, or muddy days.I constantly get stopped on walks and in pet stores by people asking about these shoes. They’ve held up incredibly well through countless washes. Depending on how dirty they get, I either toss them in a netted bag in the washing machine or, if they’ve been peed on (my Toy Poodle has that habit with or without shoes), I pre-soak them in a mix of peroxide, baking soda, and vinegar. The pre-soak may slightly fade the color or lettering on the straps, but overall the shoes and straps are very durable.I’ve put them in the dryer a couple of times when I was in a hurry, but I recommend air drying—they dry quickly with a steady stream of air from a fan. These are by far the best dog shoes I’ve ever used!

They honestly are better than most brands
These shoes are superb! My pitbull puppy is exactly 35 lbs, he’s 5 months old, and lengthy. We got him the size 5 because he is growing and we want him to be able to wear them for a while. I understand finding sizes is difficult, I personally would go a size up if you have a puppy. These fit him really well with wiggle room, he honestly didn’t need much adjusting because they were so comfortable. We walk him often to which they held up just fine, he even gallops in them (runs lol) no problem. The open width helps a lot because some paws on pups are wide and some pups have narrow so you adjust accordingly with the straps. He has no sores, no blisters, no redness or irritation so that tells me they are quality. First big trip coming up is the lake, can’t wait to see how they do for him walking in the woods 😀

Great Product, but Not a Fit for My Doggo
I purchased this set, only needing one, to use as a barrier between the ground and my dog’s nails on one of his hind paws. His two middle nails on this specific paw had begun bleeding (both nails were right at the quick) during our usual walks which are composed of both concrete sidewalks and greenbelts. Styptic powder is effective in ceasing bleeding, but only if the dog is stationary after application. However, repeated applications of the powder during a walk when the bleeding began were ineffectual. Thus, the hunt for a different remedy was on. My dog, like most pups, lives for his evening stroll. So not walking was never an option. Thus, I purchased these and a single wrap designed primarily to protect the affected paw during post-surgical mobility. At 125 lbs and his head hitting my upper thigh (I’m 5’10) my dog, a hound, far exceeds his breed’s standard height and weight. After following the sizing guidelines, I ordered an 8, the largest the company offers. The bootie was easy to get on and the Velcro straps allow for quick, effective adjustment so that it is properly fit to the paw. Upon standing, it was immediately clear that the bootie wasn’t long enough in that it didn’t extend up his lower leg which would have ensured that the bootie stayed put during the walk. Testing it around the house, with each step the bootie moved lower and lower on his foot until, relatively quickly, it came off. If the bootie was longer, I’m confident it would have worked perfectly given it didn’t rotate or otherwise slip in one direction or another as he walked around. While they don’t work for my dog, I think they’re a great product for those dogs smaller than mine. I hope the company adds an extended length option so that large breeds, with long legs, could wear these booties without them slipping off step-by-step. They are obviously well-made and offer great design. I’m keeping them for emergency use even though the other option I purchased ultimately demonstrated to be the ideal solution for protecting his paw during walks.

The perfect booties
My 20Ib maltese-poodle loves his booties! He wears a size 3 on his back paws but they’re a bit big for his front paws so I strap them on a bit tighter for the front. He got used to them the third time he tried them. These are so easy to take on and off and are very durable in the hot Florida weather. He has gotten compliments a lot of compliments on how cute and protective his booties are!

Bigger than the sizing chart recommends
I have a 12 lb miniature schnauzer and the #2 were to big. They either went wonky on her feet, or fell off completely. I would go a size smaller than you think. Even the toe box for a size #1 might be too big for my 12 lb.

Living in Northern Canada can be pretty harsh on our boxers feet, so my fiancée and I knew we needed to invest in shoes for our dogs. Before we found these shoes, we had ordered a different pair off Amazon and unfortunately they weren’t the best; they would slip off whenever our pups played. I am so happy to report that these shoes work well, they don’t slip off while the dogs are ripping around the yard! They keep the dogs feet nice and warm as well.

Empiezo con que es una pieza de buena calidad de acuerdo al precio, por dentro viene afelpado, yo diría que acalora pero pues los perros no pueden decirnos. Al diseño le falta tener espacio para el talón, así como nosotros, ya sé que ellos no lo doblan igual, pero para caminar serviría mucho, mucho. Ahora, la medida de mi perro no estaba en la lista, su pata midió más grande, pudiera tener un poco que ver, aún así para que los usen perritos con patitas débiles, debería dar forma en automático, no que la pata haga la forma, ya que el bulto que se le hace en la parte de encima del pie, no le facilita mucho el movimiento inicial. Sí me quedé los zapatos por qué amo perro se le resbalan sus patitas para caminar y pues si las necesita. Otra cosa importante es que el tamaño de el largo del tobillo hacia arriba se me hace muy corto, no se le salen porque sus patas sí. Muy anchas, pero eso le ayudaría a hacer la forma del talón.

A mi perrita le encanta correr, pero se lastimaba en el asfalto.Se adapto muy rápido, recomiendo ponerle las botas y jugar con su juguete favorito para que se distraiga y acostumbre.Ahora camina en las mañanas en el asfalto sin ninguna incomodidad o lesión.Ella es talla 8, segui las indicaciones para seleccionar su talla, de largo estaba bien, pero tenia miedo que de ancho le quedaran muy grandes. I bought a shorter version of this product a couple of years ago for my dog. He has a condition with his feet and getting them wet is not good. They served us very well but eventually the seams gave way and they basically wore out. They are very easy to put on and my dog didn’t mind them at all. We often put socks on first as his toes are very tender but he wore them without socks at times. The only real down side is keeping the velcro strips free of dirt and grass, etc. The straps tended to come on stuck if there wasn’t a good connection. We just bought the longer version with the tension string at the top. We have only used them a couple of times so far when it was raining. The inside of the boot got a little damp and Qumy was very apologetic. The boots are not waterPROOF. They are waterRESISTANT.

Wasn’t very water resistant. Had to put them on the heater after walking and would take a day or two to dry out. Make sure the velcro is tight or they will trip a lot. I like that there is double velcro straps it helps to secure the boot unlike other boots on the market. Durability isn’t great but for the price I am okay to get new ones each year. The rubber wears down, the threads come loose and velcro doesn’t last forever.Takes some getting use to as seen in the video. Worthwhile putting them on because of the salt on the sidewalks. Plus, the warmth is needed for the paws in frigid temperatures. When I didn’t have the boots on after getting use to them he no longer liked snow between his toes and would stop walking.The boots survived one trip through the washing machine then air dried, not sure they would last a second trip. They get quite smelly with continued use. However, washing the boots deteriorates the material.
