To clarify right away: the photos I took do not accurately showcase the base condition of this product. I altered it to suit my needs. This product only has entrances on the front, back, and top, with none at the sides. Photos are for proof of purchase and to show general size and potential use.This playpen was the third one I have purchased for my cats. The first one disappeared off my porch one day (never knew for certain if it was the wind or some freak stole it). The second one is holding steady. This third one had a different purpose altogether, explained later.My cats loved this as soon as I assembled it. It was a bit taller than my second pen, and it had three entrances instead of the two they were accustomed to. The zippers are good quality and run smoothly. The velcro does its job. The stitching is solid. The only complaint I would have about the fabric is that the bottom is a bit thin compared to my previous pens. It’s still sturdy enough to withstand panic scratching, but I feel like it lessens the comfort a bit for my cats.I bought this pen to function as a lounge area for my cats during an eleven hour car ride. Since I already had a pen, it was cheaper for me to buy this pen and a pair of zippers, turning my existing pen into a litter box area and then connecting the two, than it would have been to buy a new connecting pen set. Hours of seam ripping and hand sewing made me appreciate the quality of the stitching and material choice of this pen. The fabric wasn’t so stiff that I couldn’t bend it slightly to zip it and my stouter pen together, but was solid enough that my kitties couldn’t claw out (and they tried!)This pen was big enough to fit both of my cats, who are both sizable male cats (the larger one 13” at shoulder) laying down comfortably. They can stand and pace around perfectly fine. I would imagine it would fit a cat and a small litter box well if that what your needs require. This and my previous pen, which is only slightly smaller, just fit into the backseat of my 2012 Toyota Camry, although they were squished with the doors closed. The edge just went over the edge of the seat. The only other con to this pen vs other pens would be that there is only one side with a pouch, while my other pen had pouches on both sides, but that’s a minimal complaint for me (especially since that size became the zipper attachment side in my explicit case)If you need a cute pen for your cat or small dog during a longer road trip, or perhaps just to keep them in for some outdoor time or indoor retention, this is a great option! It’s cute, sturdy, and easy to set up and take apart.

Adorable soft playpen that makes for a cozy safe space
This playpen was super easy to set up and was a much cozier space for my chihuahua pup than his metal crate. Before he was old enough to sleep with me safely I set it up on my bed so that he could be safely contained but still close by. I had done the same with his smaller metal crate before getting this one and it while it kept him safe, he was not as happy. After he got old enough to have more free range of the house, this was still his safe space to go when I took a shower, had to run errands, or there were any scary household noises he didn’t like (cooking, vacuuming). He has always been a sensitive, timid little guy and I was relieved that he had a space that he felt comfortable and safe in and felt ownership of. I very much wish I had known about a crate like this with my first tiny boy was a puppy.I love the multiple zippered doors and top flap for easy access and movement. All zippers have always smoothly open and closed without getting stuck (even when awkwardly opening or closing with one hand because I have a tiny puppy in my other arm) I also appreciate that the flaps roll up and Velcro in place to stay open. I found the additional pocket really handy for easy access training treats or other puppy accoutrements. The playpen was always stable (even on the soft surface of my bed) and felt secure for my tiny pup (3-4lbs) – even when he would scratch or try to play tug of way with the flaps. I don’t know how it would withstand for a bigger or more rambunctious pup, and I was sure to keep a close eye on him inside of it when I first got it to make sure that he couldn’t move it around or topple it. When I was out of sight I always kept the top closed but in sight with the top open I never felt that he could jump out or tip it over (though he also never tried, thankfully!)I kept a towel under it just in case but even with occasional accidents and water spills it never seemed to leak through.Highly recommend for small dogs and well worth the money in my opinion. My little guy was a relatively well behaved little pup so I can see it lasting for many years and possibly many tiny puppies. As he has moved on to claim my entire bed as his safe space and needs less containment his little playpen is now a great extra little space for him to retreat to as well as use as a toy chest! I can also see it being used as a great way to hide away a litter box or piddle pads.

It’s a little flimsy. But for the price, totally worth it. The supporting stakes kept popping out of the holes and it would kind of collapse. So I put a couple of the cat scratching couches in them to help hold it upright and it worked like a charm. Definitely worth a try!
