A great automatic feeder, keeps my puppy occupied!
I have a highly energetic Labrador puppy, and I got this when he was 4 months old. I’ve been using it every day since then, and he’s now 9 months old. This is just one of the many enrichment activities and exercises he gets each day, and it’s become an important part of how I feed him.To train him, I started by placing the button close to the dispenser and manually adding kibble to the tray each time I pressed it. He quickly caught on, so I then added kibble to the dispenser while keeping the button nearby. It took him about 10-15 minutes to get used to the sound of the rotating dispenser and understand that it meant something good was coming. That evening, I moved the button further away, and he figured it out – there’s been no looking back since! The dispenser requires 4 C batteries, and the button needs 3 AAA batteries. While the button batteries last a long time, the dispenser batteries tend to die quickly if you use it daily. I bought 8 rechargeable batteries, and they’ve been working great so far.I recommend this feeder to anyone who’s looking for an additional way of feeding along with exercise/enrichment for their dogs.

Great training tool!
Works as is should. Great way to satisfy your dogs food drive. Put a little peanut butter on the button. Move it further away each day.

Great for treats or kibble!
I really like this product and so does our pup. We’ve used it for treats and for kibble.. He definitely prefers kibble.Pros – It keeps your pup busy. It’s pretty easy to figure out how to assemble and use. It can easily be adjusted to dispense different sizes and amounts. It isn’t too loud and makes just enough noise for your pup to catch onto the sounds and know when it is dispensing. Works from a good distance if you want your pup to go a ways to get the treats.Cons- It doesn’t come with a plug for a regular outlet so you will need your own. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it lined up right before it starts dispensing. It has stopped dispensing while it still contained treats. The button comes with a suction cup that didn’t work great.. At least not on our hardwood floors. And if your dog is rough with it they can easily flip the button over and/or knock the top off of the machine.

Great training tool
I currently have the dispenser set up in my bedroom with the remote in the living room. I have been pressing the button every time I leave my bedroom, and having other people press it when there’s loud sounds in the living room to work on my unfriendly pup’s separation anxiety. Before starting this, my dog barked like crazy and peed on my floor because he was so upset about strangers in the house. Now he doesn’t make a peep when he’s left alone and waits patiently in his bed under the dispenser. There is no such thing as an instant change in dog training, but I would say this was an instant improvement.Tips:*the drawer pulls out very easily and you can put the dispenser on a table out of reach of your dog so it can be left unsupervised. It becomes more of a treat search activity. Make sure that if you put it on a dresser or surface with a narrow gap underneath that the gap is blocked. My dog spent 10 minutes scratching at my dresser trying to get some kibble that bounced under it and out of reach.*when feeding meals from it, you can actually hang it on a nail on your wall at nose level. This is necessary for my smarty pants who picks up the button and brings it closer to the dispenser so he doesn’t have to walk as far.*you don’t need to have your dog press the button at all. You can just use it as a remote treat dispenser. This opens up a world of possibilities for training separation anxiety or even just as a clicker and dispenser. If your dog is too mouthy or excitable when taking treats from your hand, use the button as a clicker to mark good behavior and your dog can walk to the dispenser for the reward. This is extra beneficial because it gives you and your dog extra time to think before the next repetition*I want to reiterate how wonderful it is to use this for treat search. Sniffing is a great mental stimulation activity by itself and doesn’t get old or repetitive for them like puzzle games or just hitting a button over and over.*some dogs will be afraid of the button sound or sound of motor dispensing treats. The following are steps I used to make my nervous pup more comfortable with it.-having nervous dog do a different activities nearby while my confident dog used the button-peanut butter on the button to encourage interaction. The first few reps were while the button was off.-using a different stuffed treat toy in small area with the button to encourage accidentally pressing it

Cool concep but the communication between the button and dispenser sucks
This little machine is SO fun! My dog gets really excited when I bring it out, but the build of it is lacking a bit. At first, everything worked fantastic, we had no issues for about 2 months. Then one day I heard the button sound get distorted I also noticed the dispenser wasn’t responding to my dog’s presses. I picked up the button and it was HOT. My dog was very frustrated too because the noise he was hearing that meant “RUN FOR TREATS!” was not providing him treats. I put the unit up for awhile, and replaced the batteries, just in case (although the same batteries worked perfectly fine in a remote we tried after) I have had the same temperature problems but there is still some times a communication issue between the button and machine. To solve this, I stay in ear shot of the button and sit by the machine so I can toss a treat in when the dispenser does not do its job.The unit is also incredible hard to clean due to some grooves. But dispite the hard to clean part, I would have given this product 5 stars if both parts communicated properly.

It was great while it briefly lasted.
We purchased this for our 12 year old dog as we sometimes have to leave her alone for a few hours. She figured out how to use it very quickly and got excited when we would bring it out. After 2 1/2 months, the button the dog would press to get her treat stopped working. Replaced batteries and still not working. It was difficult to find an email to Petgeek to let them know what happened. Never got a response. No way to even purchase a replacement unit. Of course couldn’t return it as it was past return period. Very disappointed.

Works well, very happy puppy and owners. Batteries do t last long, but USB power works well.
Amazon Customer –
Bought this thinking you’d get the button and dispenser as a whole. NO you only get the button. Really misleading advert. Not happy at all. Not even described as “ONLY BUTTON INCLUDED” or a link to the dispenser. Waste of money.
Shortie Lanz –
Great for rainy days. Easy to train my dog to use. I haven’t had any issues with it. Other than the batteries of the button popping out when my dog slams the button too hard.
Rob laluk –
It’s just the freaking button. How do you get to do anything that is described with just the button? Where do you put the treats? How is this a pet dispenser? How are any of the pictures/videos on the advertisement relevant?Total rip off.
Kbernardini –
Bought this product for stimulation for our Lab. He worked out how to use pretty quickly but get disappointed as after a few turns the dispenser starts making a loud clicking sound and doesn’t drop any food. Being food obsessed he then starts barking at the machine. Not sure what the issue is. Frustrating when they do the right thing for no reward. We end up having to give it a shake to get food to dispense. For cost you would think it would work longer than a few times before having an issue
