My goldendoodle gets hotspots seasonally. My vet was putting him on medication and wrapping the areas he was bitting with this for $250 a visit.I tried giving my dog the same medication and using an ace bandage when the spot returned this summer. The dog shredded the bandage and his leg.I bought this and applied it to the spot for 3 days without removing it and gave the dog the pills. When i removed it the spot was gone.This time I didn’t have any meds so I just wrapped it in this. 3 days later and the spot was gone.I won’t be wasting my money anymore at the vet. I’ll use the same wrap and let him keep his useless pills.Highly recommend

Powerflex No Chew Bandage
An excellent product… not totally chew proof but quite a deterrent. It really helped during my 6 week long struggle to keep a splint on my dog’s broken leg. She is now running free! I keep it handy now just in case, for all the animals.

Great Stuff
Great stuff for dogs. However some dogs may not mind the taste. I have one dog who will chew on this but it takes him a long time to get a little piece going as he doesn’t like the taste. I have heard some people say that they dogs chew it right off and others say their dogs won’t. I guess it depends on how determined your pet is to get it off. For my dog, he doesn’t like the taste of it so he attempts to chew but doesn’t really get any off, just rips it a bit after a long time but by that time we are already getting after him for trying to get it off. It works for us. It does stretch a little and you have to be careful not to wrap too tight as it will cut off their circulations if applied to tight. It sticks to itself but not to the dogs fur. So you only have to use adhesive tape to fur at the top and bottom of wrap. It’s reusable until it gets dirty or they wear a hole in it if on feet.

Good quality but my dog kept licking it.
This is a good quality wrap, but failed in it’s primary purpose. My dog started licking it as soon as I put it on, and later gnawed it off her leg.

My Lab does not chew on these bandages
Great bandages and easy to apply with self adhesive feature. Our 4 month old lab puppy broke her rear leg. Bandage changes are a weekly task for this bi- valve cast the vet set. Both of our puppies were chewing at her cast. Now they don’t even lick it, because it taste terrible to them both. A great stress reliever to our pack.

This product was the most disappointing waste of money that I every spent. I have a lab with some leg sores that won’t heal because he keeps chewing on them. I bought four rolls of No Chew thinking it would solve my problem. First of all two of the four rolls were stuck together and could not be unrolled. Sent them back for a refund. As far as the product working…my lab chewed both bandages off in less than ten minutes. Did not mind the bad taste at all. Don’t waste your money.

Worth every penny
This no chew wrap is great . It has a bitter taste that deters your pet from riping it off . After wraping up my puppys paw he did try once to bite it off. but once that taste got in his mouth he didnt try it again … even over night he left it alone ( 2year giant schnauzer whos a chewer ) I did forgot to wash my hands after i wraped it and i can confirm its a bitter taste like no bite nail polish .

Maybe not for big dogs.
Put on my pups paw to stop a hotspot, he had it off between when I left on a shipping trip and returned, about 20 min. Ripped up, stretched out, and on the floor.100lb retriever mix. May work for less big dogs, but didn’t work for mine.

En lo personal a mi si me funcionó. Se adhiere muy bien y si evita que se muerdan o la estén lamiendo, pero, hay que cambiarla con frecuencia porque pierde su efectividad, no se si sea el aroma o el sabor que se van perdiendo con el tiempo, o al ensuciarse un poco y entonces el perro ya no le importa y empieza a morderla o lamerla. En general buen producto.

I have tried everything to stop my dobermann licking her legs and creating granulomas. I have spent hundreds of pounds at the vet with antibiotics and steroid creams. She has had to wear a victorian head collar at night for months on end which I hated putting on her.i bought this thinking oh well another load of rubbish but my partner and I were amazed. Since she has had this bandage on she does not attempt to touch her legs. It is still early days but the sores have healed completely.If this lasts it could save pet owners a whole load of misery and expense. AMAZING
