Almost nothing for weight.
Great product. Don’t let the thickness fool you. I bought the 60 pound cable tie out for a large tugging pup. Works great not much weight to it so training pup to being a cable as a tie out is going well. I was concern on kinks from wrapping around pole and tugging. So far it held up good.

Very heavy duty!! Not a cheap thin one for sure

Light duty 25ft dog lead
Great light weight lead for a small dog. I can tie him out for potty breaks and I don’t have to worry about him wandering off. Seems durable enough. It’s holding up well against the weather, no rust and the collar ring clasp works well. I might add it’s subject to frequent contact with salt water and still no visible rust. Does not tangle and so light weight it does not burden the dog.

It might be a bit heavy for smaller dogs
**Petest 25ft Tie-Out Cable for Dogs up to 250 Pounds**As a dog owner who enjoys spending time outdoors with my pet, I needed a reliable and durable tie-out cable that could keep my dog secure while allowing him the freedom to roam within a safe area. The Petest 25ft Tie-Out Cable seemed like a solid option, especially given its capacity to handle dogs up to 250 pounds.**What I Like:**- **Strong and Durable**: The cable is made from a robust steel material that feels sturdy and reliable. It’s coated with a weather-resistant vinyl, which adds an extra layer of protection against the elements. This durability is reassuring, especially since my dog is strong and likes to pull when he’s excited.- **Tangle-Free Design**: The swivel clips on both ends of the cable help to prevent tangling, which is a common issue with tie-out cables. My dog can move around freely without getting tangled up, which makes it more comfortable for him and less of a hassle for me.- **Length**: The 25-foot length is ideal for giving my dog enough space to explore while keeping him within a safe area. It’s long enough for him to enjoy a good range of movement but short enough to prevent him from wandering too far.- **Ease of Use**: The cable is easy to attach and detach from both my dog’s collar and the anchor point. The clips are large and secure, making it simple to hook him up quickly without fumbling with complicated mechanisms.**What I Don’t Like:**- **Weight**: The cable is a bit heavy, which is to be expected given its strength, but it could be cumbersome for smaller dogs or those not used to tie-outs. While it’s perfect for larger dogs, it might be overkill for smaller breeds.- **Vinyl Coating**: While the vinyl coating is great for weather resistance, it can start to wear down over time, especially if the cable is exposed to harsh conditions frequently. This hasn’t happened yet, but it’s something to keep an eye on if you leave it outdoors for extended periods.- **Price**: The Petest Tie-Out Cable is slightly more expensive than some other cables on the market, but the quality seems to justify the price. However, if you’re on a budget, there are cheaper options available, although they might not offer the same level of durability.**Bottom Line:**The Petest 25ft Tie-Out Cable is an excellent choice for dog owners who need a reliable and durable solution for securing their pets outdoors. It’s particularly well-suited for large, strong dogs, thanks to its sturdy construction and tangle-free design. While it might be a bit heavy for smaller dogs and the vinyl coating may wear over time, the overall quality and ease of use make it a worthwhile investment. If you’re looking for a tie-out cable that can withstand the strength of a large dog and provide them with plenty of freedom to move, this product is definitely worth considering.

Great lightweight and strong Tie Out
I love how lightweight and strong this tie out is and the color is great as well. My 90 lb Anatolian Shepherd is no match to this tie out. We use it at our back door because we don’t have a fenced in yard but our dogs are only out long enough to potty because they are all senior dogs who love to be couch potatoes. I would definitely recommend this tie out.

Petest 40ft Tie out cable
Nice long cable leash works well for strong dogs, it does the job well when I want to let my dog spend so time outside. Helps keep her from finding a way to get out of the fence and running off, I don’t like doing it but it’s for her safety. It gives her plenty of room to run around and play with the other family dogs with out her escaping she’s the only one that is an escape artist

fairly reliable
I’ve ordered this same tie out more times than I can count, but I keep coming back to it because I know I can trust it (mostly). I have 2 dogs, both pit bulls, between 45-65 pounds. Neither pull much on the tie out, they just need boundaries…and a reminder to NOT chase the chickens! the biggest downside is the clips break after a bit of use. it eventually frays, but not until some serious weather and wear and tear get to it. being in Michigan, it sees quite a range of weather. the price is great and always arrives quickly. also not so prone to tangle.

Lot one from one of the big box stores. However, the class was too heavy kept dragging our poor cats. And dogs downThis is nice and lightweight and hook, isn’t as heavy works wonders

Purchase for camping trips and for securing our Pom while working in the yard. Cable is of good quality and anchor easy to screw into the turf.No complaints
Titus –
Works really well but I should have ordered a much longer tether.

I purchased this lead a year ago but it snapped off at connector. I had to replace. Compared to others available it’s the best one for price and strength. I need to find out if there’s a warranty
