I bought this because my cat is an inside outside cat. Lately my cat doesn’t come in the house daily so I wanted to make sure he’s around. The tracker will not give real time locations and it takes hours to refresh . It does have a a bell that will only work if your within a few feet of him. Is not bad but if you love. Your cat and when your desperate to find this not work for you.

Challenging to Pair but reasonable tracking
Did not come with instructions so it was challenging to figure out how to get it to work with “Find My” but was, finally, able to figure it out. We use it for my 9lb chihuahua – she is so small if she runs she is hard to find! I do like being able to track her. She has never left my neighborhood so we haven’t really tested the boundaries of the range but tracking seems reliable.Similar to pinging my phone with the “Find My” app, you can ping this collar to find your pet.

Perfect!
I am so thrilled to have found this! I have a sneaky little cat who tries to get out and I’ve been wanting to get something like this in case so managed to escape.It was a little confusing at first to get it paired up with my iPhone but I think that might have more to do with my lack of skill than poor instructions. Once I figured it out it paired just fine and now I can track my cat if she gets out. The included collar looks really nice and fit her well – she’s an adult but the size of a 4-5 month old kitten so a lot of times even the small coats are too large for her.The collar is also a breakaway style which, yes, that kind of defeats the purpose of using the tag to find her but I like that it’s going to come off should she get herself hung up on something instead of strangling her.The tag shows up on my Find My app, and also has a function that allows me to make the tag beep so if she’s hiding in the house I can verify she’s still inside instead of wondering if she’s inside or outside but close by.

Comes off kitty easy
Collar came of of kitty after only being on him three hours so durability was not so good. Fortunately it was inside so I didn’t loose it. Great value, size was right, weight was so so, but functionally wise not so good. I didn’t want to loose the collar but did not want to loose my cat more!
