Great product but be careful with packaging.
Pricey, but there is nothing else like it, worth every penny! This is a staple at my grooming shop to ensure all the dogs leave here smelling and feeling AMAZING. completely transforms even the roughest and driest coats into silky smooth fur. I own a smaller grooming shop with a client list of around 3400 dogs, that being said I have encountered only 2 dogs which this product either irritated skin or caused an allergic reaction with. Both of these dogs were perfectly fine after a quick rinse and required no medical attention. It does have a very light fragrance so if you or your pup is sensitive to fragrance this might cause an issue but it is very faint not overpowering by any means.**Side note with Amazon: BE CAREFUL what you order with this, mine showed up not sealed properly and had leaked over EVERYTHING! Luckily everything I got I was able to rinse the pet silk serum off. I am a little upset that about 1/3 of the bottle leaked out but I just needed a quick fix until my usual supplier got theirs back in stock.

Amazing product!
Works amazing! Brushing my doodles is soo much easier and the smell is so nice as well!! Will definitely always keep on hand! Use it a couple times a week in between bathing!

Been using for 15 years…
I first discovered this serum at a grooming seminar in Charlotte, NC. It is the best finishing product I have ever used on long coats and leaves the hair silky, shiny, and smells wonderful. A little goes a long, long way as this is my third bottle in all these years. A little dab the size of a dime(or less) is all a yorkie or maltese needs. I dont get many clients who keep their dogs long and in a full coat, so a 4 oz bottle lasts quite a long time without losing its quality. Even after years of using the same bottle, it still smells fresh and does the job making the coat have body and luster. I highly recommend this and Pet Silk’s colognes. I haven’t tried any of their other products.

AS ADVERTISED, BUT……….
it’s an oil based product, which didn’t give the look I was hoping for.It smells nicely and does soften the hair.I have 2 poodles and a Shih Tzu. I bought this product for the Shih Tzu just to tame some loose ends and give her hair some shape and form.I rubbed some between my fingers and could tell it was an oily product, so I decided to put it on the poodles. {They are my tough baby boys , so I sometimes use them as guinea pigs 🙂 } I used a small amount, but their hair still was ‘streaky’ in spots. You could tell something was on their hair. Both of them have the furry tails which can get a bit tangled at time, so I put the product on the tail area and it really softened and made it more easily combed.So, I decided not to use the product on the Shih Tzu and just use it on the poodle’s tails.I gave it 5 stars because it did make the hair soft and hold its form, which the product said it would do.I just didn’t care for the oily residue.

This product is not greasy at all. In florida the humidity I’d not kind to anyone’s hair.
I have a rescue Aussie. His hair started to get fly away and stick out. I took him to a groomer who used this product on long haired dogs. The fist time I used it I just rubbed a small amount in my hands and tan it though the top and sides and his tail. A good brush and the the hair looks so silky and shiny, lays down nicely and smells great!

PRODUCT REVIEW.We’ve used Pet Silk finishing serum for over a decade, maybe two, for personal and professional use. My mom found it in the early 2000’s when she owned her grooming business and as of the last year, she opened up her business again and started to use it professionally as before. In the meantime, we’ve used it on our pets after their baths and it truly makes a difference. We like to dry them first, then finish with the serum, giving a beautiful shine and amazing smell. (We pair it with a dog cologne and they really compliment each other). If you don’t have conditioner, you can also use this before drying them to give an incredibly soft finish. I would 1000% recommend this product to anyone and everyone.Would leave 5 stars if not for the shipping issues.SELLER REVIEW.The product leaked in the package. It was wrapped in a blue bag, which concealed some of the serum so it didn’t pour out of the box, but quite a bit was lost. It doesn’t seem like much in the picture, but we are a small business, so every penny counts, especially with something we use as often as the Pet Silk. Just disappointed. This hasn’t happened before, thankfully, but we can’t return it since we need it. Tip: wear gloves when you open the box lol.

Great Smelling Hair Serum for Dogs
This serum smells GREAT and works even better. I tried several others but found them to have too much alcohol ,are too greasy or do nothing at all. I am so happy that I found this. It leaves my Maltese hair silky smooth and calms the fly away hair, without weighing it down and smells good too. It is a little pricey but totally worth it.

Shine, and glide.
I love this product. Applied lightly all over, after a bath, it makes my Maltese’s hair shine. It makes her coat more silky in texture than it is naturally. Between baths, a dollop on a nasty tangle, makes the hair glide loose of the tangle. Now, it does have a “perfumey” scent, which I normally do not appreciate. However, while I am very sensitive to fragrance, this did not irritate my sinuses, and the fragrance dissipated quickly. I have tried many, many products to keep my beautiful girl looking her best. This one I will keep, and I recommend it most highly.

Smells nice. Seems rather expensive for the amount you get. I have used other natural products that are a lot cheaper and do the same job. Does work well and our doggy looks gorgeous.

Immer wieder gerne. Sehr ergiebig, toller geruch und das fell wird watteweich! Ist jetzt unsere 2. Bestellung. Hatten sonst die kleine Flasche aber das preisleistungsverhältnis ist einfach besser. Bei uns mit einem kleinen malteser und täglicher Anwendung halten ca 50-100ml pro Jahr!

This has been an absolute god send for helping to maintain my morkie dogs’ hair, helping to prevent the awful matting knots that dogs wth this type of hair are prone to get. I can’t recommend more highly. The bottle lasts well as you only need a small amount. It is quite pleasantly, but strongly scented, which I like but I’m not sure what my dogs really think of that! I think if they had their way they’d rather smell of fox poo, from the way they like to roll in the grass!!
