I believe it’s crucial to keep our pets ears clean, just as we do. I have been using another brand but when I ran out I decided to buy this because I have been using Pet MD ear wipes for 4 nows and decided to stay within one brand. Smells good and it is effective. Last week we had a vet visit, as my Dog had an inflamed red inner ear. I showed this to my Vet and he liked the product but did tell me to only use these deep inner ear cleaners once a week, as it may flush the good bacteria out and cause bad bacteria to grow. Makes sense. I will use weekly and as needed.

I have Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and like most spaniels, they have heavy, hairy, drop ears that tend to hold moisture and get infections easily. Keeping them clean is a pretty frequent job, and I have a myriad of products and items that help me achieve that goal as best as I can.This product has a pleasant, though a little strong, scent that lingers after cleaning and helps make ears smell fresh. It’s solely for your benefit, though.. my dogs don’t seem to care either way. It works well on their ears. My dogs sit in front of me and get their ears treated and then gently rubbed at the base to move the liquid around in the canal and help break up any wax or dirt. Then I gently wipe out the outside of the ear with a circular cotton pad to clean the excess, and dispense a treat to the victim and send them on their way. In all of my dogs, it seems to do well keeping the canals clean and dry, they smell good, and it doesn’t cause irritation.However, my cat did not have the same luck on that score, and when I tested a little swab of it on the inside of his ear flap, he immediately reacted and his eyes started to water, and he was shaking his head and pawing at his ears. So I cleaned the spot on the ear with a little soap and water, and after a while the reaction ceased. So I haven’t used it on him since then, and won’t try it again. Your mileage may vary, and I think he was just sensitive to something in the ingredients.. plenty of people in the comments have had good luck with it on their cats. Just be cautious and test it first to be sure before putting multiple drops in their ears.In no way do I feel like that was the fault of the product.. as I said, I think Rhys was just sensitive to something in it, and that’s just always a risk. The dogs have had no issues and it works great for them, so I will continue buying it and just continue to use my previous method with my cat since it worked fine for him. This product is definitely worth a try, especially if you have problem ears like my spaniels do.

Good product
My dog didn’t have any problems with this ear cleaner. I just had to apply the drops quickly and not linger with the process. I will continue using this cleaner. I like the narrow tip of the bottle that allowed easy application in my dogs ears.

Effective & Pleasant Scent
I have only used this once but the sugar cookie smell is nice, not overpowering. My dog was shaking her head a lot so I realized I needed to clean her ears & am hoping it isn’t ear mites. This product is my first round solution in case she just has clogged ears (she is a Goldendoodle). After just one use, her head shaking and ear scratching has lessened by about 60%. I I need to use it 3x daily for 2-3 days per directions then 1-2 times a week. Am waiting the 3 days to see if the head shaking stops completely but will keep using weekly to maintain clean ears. It seems effective and is reasonably priced.

Works and Smells Great Too.
This stuff works well on my babies and smells great too! It’s not so strong that it’s over-powering, it’s just a gentle waft of deliciousness when you hug or snuggle your pup. It’s wise to always check in with the vet before trying anything new, but this item has always been safe and effective for us.

Questionable packaging quality compromises the product
The seal that’s supposed to keep the liquid fresh is consistently stuck in the top lid instead of adhered to the bottle. Not only is it annoying to remove, it gives me concerns whether this product stays fresh.The product otherwise seems fine, but questionable packaging quality.

Ear Cleaning is So Much More Pleasant Now!
My bigger GSD is super sensitive with his ears due to significant allergy issues & overproduction of ear wax. Finding this cleaner has made all our lives easier – it not only doesn’t seem to cause any irritation or burning, but it even soothes raw & painful ears.I’ve used it regularly for maintenance cleaning over the years & it keeps both dogs’ ears trouble-free. However, I recently came home to find my big guy’s ears so inflamed that one was to the point it was actively bleeding. I was reluctant to use it in the ear that was the worst, but it’s a long holiday weekend so I gave it a shot. As soon as the first squirt went in, my boy completely relaxed and sat there smiling, panting in relief & no longer trying to wiggle away as he allowed me to finish both ears. Such a relief!
