Perfect heating pad for kittens
We foster kittens for our local shelter. Some come with a mama cat, some are bottle babies. Our kitten nursery is in the basement and it tends to be a bit cooler than the rest of the house. This pad is on 247 to keep the kittens warm and healthy. It is easy to clean and sterilize with a damp cloth, maintains a steady temperature for kittens (unlike a heating pad for humans.) The price was right and we’ll buy another if this one outlives its’ functionality.

Nice quality and size, with a good cover over the heating pad. Cats love it, and it seems to be long-lasting. It has a good control unit for setting the temperature as well as the shut off time.

This is a nice pad and made safe for the pet. Just know the heat doesn’t come on fully unless there is weight on top of it. So you might be like me to turn it up to the highest only to realize it was a little too warm then for my kitten when she sat on it because I turned it up to the highest setting wondering why I couldn’t feel the heat. I love that it’s a 12 hour timer. I put a blanket on top of it and my kitten loves it!!!! It’s her favorite napping spot! I would recommend!

Amazon’s Choice? Be carefull! It looks like it is for 110 Volts. The manual states 200-220 Volts.If true the unit may draw twice the current and the wire will be too thin and heat / catch fire.Amazon should be more carful about adding their “Amazon’s Choice” label to items.May return.

My cat is always looking for a cozy spot and now that it’s getting cold he’s loving this heating pad! I love it comes with multiple temperature settings and a timer so I can have it shut off on it’s own. It does not take long to heat up, either. It’s made of durable material and it’s soft to the touch. I use it both in my cat’s bed or lying on my bed, so he has a warm spot. There is no setup needed, and it would make a great gift for cat owners!
