GREAT for getting the undercoat off of my doodle. Helps prevent mats. Takes a little getting used to to get through tangled hair without pulling, but you figure it out, like a comb. Good qaulity.

This dematting comb is a total game changer for my Goldendoodle! The blades are sharp enough to glide through tangles without pulling, and the handle feels really comfortable during long grooming sessions. It works perfectly on longer, wavy coats and helps keep the hair soft and fluffy between grooming appointments. I noticed a big difference in how smooth Benji’s coat looks after using it. Definitely worth it if you have a doodle or any dog with thick, curly hair.

Ummmmm……this is magical. I looked at this comb about 20 times before I hit the purchase button, and I’m mad I waited. I couldn’t figure out how this would go through my doodle’s curls – he’s on the much curlier side of the doodle spectrum, but oh my goodness does it work! My dog has had a mat behind his ear for about a week, and I had tried using my fingers and even the end of a human comb to break it up. Then, I decided to try this comb. It wasn’t even 2-3 times through before the mat was gone. It didn’t seem to bother my dog either – he didn’t like my first attempt at pulling through because I didn’t know what I was doing, but once I grasped the hair at the bottom and worked the comb through, he just lay in my lap and let me go to work. I felt like I was shearing a sheep because of the way the hair comes off the dog – it’s really satisfying. After using this, my dog has had smooth, soft, and extra fluffy hair, and I am still in shock that this little thing does ALL THAT! Don’t hesitate, buy the comb and watch magic happen!

Knot Easy Butt Effective
That’s my self-groomer opinion, it’s effective but it still takes work to get through the fur. It is still better than anything I’ve previously used. Recommended.

Works well to get through our doodles knots! We use this daily with a metal comb also and our doodle looks and feels great. This basically acts as a rake for the undercoat.
