No Assembly – Perfect Size
We needed something to house rescue kittens as they were outgrowing the box and trying to climb. This playpen fit the bill perfectly, giving enough room to roam, and a zippered top to keep them from climbing out. The waterproof bottom (covered with towels as well) allows for easy sanitation. As they adapt, the playpen will be put outside to begin acclimating them to the outdoors. Very pleased so far with the performance of this product. Also, the fact that it folds compactly will make for space-saving storage. No assembly required – it just unfolds into shape.

Great for Cracked Out Kittens
I bought this to help my then 6-week old kitten get acquainted with my older cat, who is to hopefully be his best friend as time goes on and it is a great size for just that. When he was 6 weeks old, it gave him enough room to safely zoom around inside, a space for food/water and a kitten sized litter box, and the zip up door meant he could go in and out as he chooses which is nice. Now that he’s about 10 weeks old, he is able to leap out of it through the top and ends up folding in the corners with his antics, but it is still safe to leave him near it unsupervised thanks to it not having any loose pullers or pieces. He can see well out of it while inside and we can keep an eye on his clearly since the mesh is super visible, and he seems very comfy inside of it, like a little nest for him 🙂

Perfect for Cat with a new litter
This pen was great for cat & kitten litters. Once kittens are up and walking it is easy to close the door so they can’t get out & leave the top open for Mama Cat to come and go. Easy to clean, definitely functional. It’s definitely portable – We’ve moved it from room to room as needed & even bought a second one for the other cats because they all love it. Would be ideal for small dogs as well.

Cat playpen met expections
This is fine for a well behaved cat whose claws are trimmed otherwise the mesh could be ripped. I’m giving it 4 stars because it served its purpose at the hotel. I bought the medium-sized version but probably should have gone with large because if you’re setting up a litterpan, the food bowl and the water bowl as well as toys and blankets, you want everything spaced apart otherwise litter will go into the water & food bowls. My cat is a senior so she couldn’t be bothered ripping at the mesh however if you have a kitten or “mischievous feline toddler” not sure the mesh is able to withstand the claws. The top part of the playpen was flimsy. The bottom part of the playpen isn’t waterproof so you may want to line it with a towel. It was easy to set up and undo. I wanted to keep it on my hotel bed so my cat could look out the window however the playpen was a bit unsteady meaning it can tip over on its side so I kept it on the floor if the hotel. I like the idea of this playpen vs having her (my cat) in a large dog pet carrier while I’m not in the room.

Very nice product for kitten security
I bought this playpen for the kitten of an outside feral mother that wasn’t thriving with it’s mother. I wanted something to put the kitten in to keep it away from my two dogs, as she was only about 4 weeks old. I bought the medium size, which sufficed for its purpose, but I wish I would’ve gotten the large size, so the kitten would’ve had more room since I had a litter box and bed in the playpen also. I’m pleased with the quality of the product, and I haven’t had any problems with the zipper not working or seams coming apart. The netting around the sides also has stood against my kitten scratching with no holes. I did attach a nylon pull to the zipper to be able to keep my fingers away from the zipper tab, because as my kitten got bigger, she would jump up and claw at my fingers as I zipped the top shut. She is now 5 months old, and still sleeps in the playpen at night, but I fold it up and stick it in a corner out of the way during the day. It folds very easily. I just push in at every other bend, then fold in half. It comes with a carrying bag, which I’ve ever had to use, as I’ve never taken it anywhere. The pictures show my kitten at 5 months old in her playpen, and the pull that I attached to the zipper, which I took off of an old flashlight.

very small and not water resistant flooring
I had looked at the measurements and wanted to make sure this would be good to house a feral kitten while it was socialized. Once a litter box and food bowls are put in, the area is very, very small. Another thing that I didn’t anticipate was the flooring. It was listed as being water resistant on the flooring of the playpen. One water dish was toppled and soaked the bottom which leaked immediately onto the carpet below the playpen. Holding it up to the light, I discovered that you could see through areas of the bottom. I’m hoping this can contain the kitten for a couple weeks while it becomes socialized.

Nice quality, bright colors (I got blue and pink). I use them for baby chick brooders. They last me a good year or two before I replace them, with a dozen or more hatches going through each one each year.

Kitten Playpen
This is perfect for 2 little kittens and a small litter box. If you need to wrangle babies, this gives them room to play but also keeps them in a safe space. I love this product. It also folds away conveniently for storage when not needed.
