Smart Life Wifi Connection:
1. Please reset the device by pressing and holding the WIFI button on the front panel for 5-10 seconds until you hear a beep sound.
2. Then login Smart Life App
3. Click “+” on the top corner to add a new device
4. Select “Add Device”
5. Select Camera & Lock -> Smart Camera (2.4GHz&5GHz)
Then follow the app instruction to complete the connection with your smartphone.
The device is compatible with both 2.4GHz & 5GHz WiFi networks; however, ensuring a robust WiFi signal for optimal performance is crucial. We recommend adjusting the video quality from HD to SD if the connection is weak.When prompted to enter the WiFi SSID (Name) and password, kindly ensure the details are correct to facilitate a smooth connection through the App.The device features a pre-recorded voice message that plays for a maximum of 10 seconds while feeding.It’s advisable to use dry, non-sticky treats that are 5-lSmm in size.

We are absolutely delighted with our this pet camear, and so are our pets. The transition to using this gadget was nothing short of seamless.The setup was extremely intuitive and straightforward. We had the device up and running in no time, syncing it with our phones via the app. The 1080P full HD camera offers crystal clear imagery that allows us to keep an eye on our fur babies no matter where we are. The 2-way audio feature had us in giggles as our cats adjusted to hearing our voices coming from the device.The automatic treat dispenser function was an instant hit. Our cats now eagerly anticipate treat times, and we find the ability to reward them remotely to be extremely valuable. The portions are accurate and the manual feed feature in the app is handy for those extra treat times.Yes, we did face some initial hiccups with the WiFi connectivity, especially with the 5GHz. However, after upgrading our router (which was overdue anyway), it worked like a charm. So if you are thinking about purchasing this product, ensure your WiFi supports 2.4GHz for optimal functionality.Initially, we activated the motion detection feature but found it a little too sensitive for our liking. We ended up deactivating it, but it could be useful for others.The night vision feature surpassed our expectations. Nice product! Camera cap difficult to remove
I had such trouble trying to set this up the first time. I couldn’t find a way to remove the camera cap which then made me question if there ever was one- so obviously I wasn’t able to get the device connected the first time around without showing it the QR code on my phone screen. I finally found a spot to dig my nails under to turn the cap down and away from the camera, which I have shown in attached video. Trying to turn it from the tab on the camera lense didn’t do anything because that part of the cap doesn’t move.

Potential Hazard For Cats.
IMO this product is not suitable for curious cats.The treats are fed by a rotating drum with a cut out cavity in it. When the drum rotates, the cavity collects the treats from above and then dumps them at the dispenser opening when the drum /cavity rotates downward.The problem I anticipated is that the open cavity is low enough in the device that a curious cat could easily insert its paw in search of treats.Should the device be activated while a cat has its paw in the drum the paw could become entrapped, or worse cause serious injury.To validate my concern, I inseted a carrot into the open cavity of the drum and activated the feed dispenser. the drum rotaed and cut off the end of the carrot.No way was I going to leave my curious and always hungry boy alone with this thing.Maybe this would be OK for a dog, but IMO not for cats or other small pets.

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $159.99 with a $15 off coupon currently being provided by the seller at this time. Pricing is fair all things considered, but anywhere closer towards the $100 mark would obviously be nice, however, not entirely necessary either given the quality design, build and functionality with this particular unit.Design looks great, super minimal and sleek but heavy laden with convenient and generally easy to use features. Perfectly smart and networked to allow autonomy for the client, meaning you can be away for extended periods and still be able to communicate and ration out pellet snacks to your loved one.Camera comes in HD quality acceptable for use over network, clear and consistent enough but highly dependant on a good connection.With built in motion detection you can easily have this work based on proximity or scheduled to toss snacks out at a convenient time. Also works great with your home assistant if you’re really that lazy.Messages also work fine if you pre-record it allowing for less checkups and helping to ensure your pet hears your voice as it dispense. While not a replacement for real life interaction it’s the next best thing.App works fine and highly intuitive and modernized. An all around well rounded unit that works as intended.

Highly recommend. Better than expected. My pups love it and are very intrigued by it. I love watching them remotely while I’m at work and seeing them get excited when they hear my voice just before a treat is tossed.

I use this treat controller when I’m working at the office. It seems to be able to distract my dogs for most of the day. My dog actually gets use to the time pattern if I trow the treats at specific scheduled time.
