Long lasting chew toy
It lasts!!! I have an American Bully Pit mix and he has not bitten though this ring. It has teeth marks but he hasn’t destroyed this ring. It has been 16 hours and the ring is still whole. I love this product!! Will purchase again.

Listen, I have a confession: I’m that person who rotates dog chews like they’re a wine collection. Different shapes, different flavors, all in the name of seeing what makes my 70lb goofball’s tail go full helicopter mode. So when this chicken-flavored Nylabone showed up, I knew exactly how to test it.Step one: let him dig into the box. The box itself was already open, but there was still packaging material inside, and that’s where the truth always comes out. Some chews? He’ll sniff the box, give me a look like “really?” and walk away. This one? He went full excavation mode—paws flying, nose buried, acting like he was uncovering ancient treasure. By the time he actually found it, I had to get it out of the packaging while he practically vibrated with impatience. The second it was loose, he grabbed it like he’d just won the Powerball and trotted straight to his favorite bed to show it off, tail wagging so hard I thought he might take flight.And when another dog tried to make a move on it later? He shut that down instantly. That’s the “this is MINE” seal of approval right there.Now, full transparency—we’ve tried Nylabones and similar brands over the years, and they’re all pretty comparable in durability. The real deciding factor is whether your dog actually wants to chew it, and this chicken flavor clearly hits different.He’s a casual chewer—not the type to go full lumberjack on every object in the house—and this bone has held up great over two weeks. No scary chunks flying off, just the normal tiny bits these things shed as they gradually shrink. He usually gnaws on it during our dinner (his version of a dinner date, I assume), and the chicken flavor definitely keeps him coming back.Here’s the real test: he brings it to the door to show whoever just walked in, like, “Look what I’ve got! Isn’t it amazing?” Sometimes he even wants you to hold it while he chews—maybe a bonding thing? My mom actually wears a glove when she does this because as those tiny bits come off, the edges get sharp. I’ve personally sacrificed a pair of pants to snags, and hosiery is absolutely banned when he’s around with this thing. So yes—the edges develop personality.As for the dental health claims—he uses these frequently and still has some buildup, so I can’t confirm any miracles. The sharp edges probably help with scraping, but this is not a substitute for actual cleanings.Bottom line: great chew toy, classic bone shape dogs love, and the flavor truly delivers. My 70lb guy is working the “large” size (rated up to 50lbs) just fine, so don’t stress if your dog is slightly above the weight range. He’s happy, I’m happy, though my pants have absolutely seen better days.

Great Chew Ring That Really Keeps a Dog Busy
This ring ended up being one of the few chew toys that actually holds my dog’s attention. The texture seems to hit the right spots for him—he’ll flip it around, work on different sides, and stay entertained longer than with most toys. The material feels solid and has held up well so far, even with a strong chewer. It also doesn’t get gross or sticky like rubber toys sometimes do, which I appreciate.The only small downside is that, with heavy use, the edges can start to get a bit rough, so I just keep an eye on it and swap it out when needed. But for the price and the amount of chewing time it buys, it’s absolutely worth it. Overall, it’s a sturdy, flavorful ring that dogs clearly enjoy and actually come back to.

Great for aggressive chewers
My dogs are really enjoying this Nylabone Wishbone. We had already used the regular straight-shaped Nylabones before, so this was a nice change. It seems easy for the dogs to hold, and they like chewing on it just as well as the straight ones. I think this cleans their teeth really well, too, because of how the ends gets rough and pitted. I can definitely say it has improved my one dog’s terrible breath simply by helping to clean his teeth. The ends do get rough fast with aggressive chewers like mine – the picture of the end of this one was after about 30 minutes of chewing. It doesn’t smell, though, and doesn’t leave any kind of mess on the floor or furniture. I haven’t found it to be sticky at all, but the ends that have been chewed will definitely catch your clothes if you’re not careful. These usually last a couple weeks for my guys before I decide the ends are too rough to be safe. I wish they would chew the middles, too, but alas, my dogs only chew up the very ends so it feels like a lot of it is wasted. There’s no way to cut them off to let them continue either as the material is super hard. It will definitely keep the dogs occupied for a long time when they’re truly interested in it, so that’s helpful, too.

This looks a great toy for textured play. Be mindful that the largest size is still way too small for a large dog. I would not trust my dog with this toy so I returned it.

My dog loves it!
I got this bone for my dachshund mix that is obsessed with toys and bones. I showed it to him, and he immediately ran off to chew on it, tail wagging. I love how strong and hard these bones are. I know he’ll have it for a long time. The color is not exciting, but he doesn’t care, and it makes me feel like it’s more natural. The size is a bit big for him, but I knew that when ordering. He doesn’t mind. It is very chewable, and he loves that. I feel like the price is a bit high for one bone, but I am keeping in mind that I won’t have to buy him another for a long time.
