Definitely Fi Over Others
My yorkie has used two generations of Fi collars and Whistle before that. Had to purchase another for my new frise mix who’s a bit loony. Love Fi because the battery goes on for weeks, there’s lots of third party collar options out there, the LED is awesome at night, and it doesn’t look like something added to a collar as much as other brands do or adding an AirTag does. The Fi was a life saver when my yorkie was younger and ran off after squirrels; but luckily learned to listen and to return home by him self; but still love the collar because of the fitness tracking. I recently had an AirTag on my frise mix; which worked most of the time; but the Fi is just more reliable and as already mentioned – love the added LED light when walking the dogs at night. It’s not a strong light that’s meant to replace a flashlight; but it’s more to know where they are, help people spot them, and hopefully avoid bicycles or even cars from hitting them. As a bonus – there’s an option to choose from a few light colors. If one of the doggies go missing, the Fi can be put into lost mode, which causes the light to flash red (so I don’t like using the red light to avoid confusion if others know about the collar).The Fi collar is definitely worth it if you worry about your dog running off and/or their daily workout. There is somewhat of a social network built into the app where you can post and other like other pics of dogs and connect with other dog owners; but I don’t use it much and the app isn’t built around a social network which I’m thankful for. I will agree that pricing can be high compared to just using an AirTag and/or options from some carriers that offer similar trackers now; but bundling for a year or two seem to help reduce the cost (although it has to be paid upfront at once). …maybe Fi should consider allowing people to use those new financing options that allow for 4-bi-weekly payments interest free (just a suggestion).I also do wish the collar could play a sound when in lost mode; but at the same time I can see that causing some dogs to panic and God forbid, possibly run into traffic or get injured somehow.Anyways – love the collars and definitely look into the third part Sexy Dog Beast collars if you want something more premium and quality made for your furry friend.

LIFE saver ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Set up was extremely easy. I like the diversity in mapping out your safe zone. The charger is really neat. Just like a cordless iPhone charger! Just set it down and charge. I have a 60lb American bulldog and the Large fits her perfect.Edit to OG post: My senior dog has dementia and likes to wander sometimes. I love the app to be able to see her sleeping habits, when she’s most active, and of course her location. The battery life is amazing. I swear I can go a week or more with out charging. That is IMPRESSIVE.This thing literally saved my dog’s life. One day I got a text AND app notification that she had left home. I pulled over and zoomed in on the map and saw her and a body of water. I instantly called my mom that lives a mile down the road to go and get her because I was about 10 minutes away. You’re able to add an emergency contact and it will share the dog’s location as well as alert them when they’ve left home so you’ve always got a backup person. I did that and she was able to find her easily. By the time I was almost home my mom had called and said she had to jump IN THE POND and get her because she was bobbing up and down. She said if she wouldn’t have gotten there when she did then she definitely would have drowned.OBVIOUSLY IM GIVING A FIVE STAR REVIEW. This is an amazing price for this collar. I also decided to get a “shock” collar for her too. The one I purchased was $600 and isn’t worth that much money at all.I WOULD pay $600 for the Fi collar. If your dog likes to venture out, GET THIS. It could save their life 😊

Inaccurate GPS; not reliable for rural areas.
I’ve been exceedingly hopeful about this product for a long time now. When it connects to GPS, it’s helpful for at least getting you in a general range. It does not accurately let you know when your pet has left the safe zone at all. It also does not pinpoint your dog’s location on GPS; it only shows a general location, so you could be 500 to 1000 feet apart, which is a very big distance if you’re in a forest or field without a clear line of sight. It can take 45 minutes to get a notification that your dog has left the safe zone, depending on when it picks it up on GPS. The battery does last a while, but nowhere near the three-month claim. It is sturdy and it does stay on, however. The point of the light I don’t quite understand because it’s not bright enough if you’re looking for them at night. I think it’s just a fancy added feature. The subscription part, where you can see all of the steps that they take, is not really a bonus, the way I purchased it. It was part of a package deal, so I’m not sure if I have to keep it yet. I certainly don’t plan to because it won’t be worth the money for what I’ve gotten out of the product.If you’re looking for something that is going to immediately tell you when the dog leaves, give you a small area, as in less than a third of an acre for a safe zone, and pick up GPS signals in rural areas, you’re going to need to spend a lot more money or find a better product that I may not have found. This is not meant for rural areas or anywhere that has gaps in GPS. You’ll just be hunting for your dog for hours, walking in circles, playing chase, hoping this thing actually leads you somewhere.

Este producto no sirve fuera de estados unidos, gaste mucho dinero por él, pero la aplicación no tiene cobertura en mi país y trate de regresarlo, pero Amazon no pudo ayudarme y las paqueterías locales se lavaron las manos además de que por parte del vendedor no me proporcionaron un número de guía válido, desafortunadamente tuve que quedármelo, la peor experiencia de compra que he tenido, si eres de México u otro país NO COMPRES este producto!
