Much better than normal heating pad
This worked amazing well for my litter of puppies. The thermostat is awesome. I do wish it would not automatically turn off because they did need it full time. The chew resistance was as expected and the cover wasn’t very soft and easy to remove and clean. The zipper did break after a few times though. The size was perfect for 7 puppies. I’m sure more could have fit also.

Last winter night I set up the GOLOPET heating pad in Snow’s corner — since she’s a big black German Shepherd, she gets cold easily. As soon as I plugged it in, it warmed up nicely — not too hot, but just right. Snow jumped on it and immediately curled up, looked relaxed, and I could tell she felt it.A few days later, I left it on while I was working late, and when I came back the pad was still warm and stable — the thermostat kept the temperature safe, and the power-line protection gave me peace of mind (with all the tools and gadgets I run in the garage). The pad didn’t overheat or spike in heat, and the material felt soft and cozy enough for long rest.What impressed me most: how practical it is. For a large dog, many pads feel cramped or flimsy — this one is big enough for Snow to stretch out comfortably. It’s also thick and durable, not that thin “throw-away” feel. This is an amazing product, large in size, heats up quickly and love the 24 hour feature. The only drawback is it is very thin so you can feel the wiring in it. But if you put a blanket over it it is perfect

perfect for old ladies with bad hips!
perfect for my old lady chihuahua. her hips and knees give her a lot of trouble in the winters, making it hard to get in and out of bed, or walk around the house but with this blanket, she is so much happier and absolutely loves it. i love that it has a timer so it will auto shut off and i dont have to worry about it going crazy. i got the larger size so it would cover her whole bed. it works so well, and was worth it!

Heating Pad Changes Buddies Nights and Days.
Someone dropped a blind older dog at my house and he was so afraid and thin. When he laid down, he shivered as it was cold. He is so afraid of humans, but I needed to find a way to keep him warm in my garage. I purchased this GOLOPET Large dog heating pad. It heats up to 130° and I turned my heating pad up to that temp to see how warm that would be. It felt good to my hands, and can only imagine how good it would feel to this dog. When it finally arrived, I laid it down on top of the fuzzy blanket I had put down for him. He sat down on it and rolled up in a ball at first. But the next morning, he is laying flat on his side to get the most heat from the pad. I noticed when he got up this morning, he felt better and walks more freely. But stays on the concrete pad as he can feel where he is. His joints were not as stiff after having the heat on his body. “Buddy” feels so much better with this heat pad and the fresh meat dog food he is eating. With the warmth and good food, his anxiety has gone down. I am thankful for this Heating pad. He is a large dog, and the pad fits him well

Bad purchase that isn’t working
The heating pad worked well at first. Then as dogs laid on it, the flimsy cover would twist around, come unzipped and electric pad slide out. The material on pad is horrible as too big and slick. I am constantly trying to flatten pad and it doesn’t last. The heating elements on one side are already not heating…probably are broken.Bad purchase and only a couple weeks old.I wish people who sell or make these pads would TRY THEM.

Temperature control and washable cover
Bought this for my senior female Weimaraner (13 yoa) since she has started having hip issues. She seems to enjoy it. However, I might need to order another since my younger Weimaraner likes to hog it if he can bully her out if it. I like that I can wash the cover since it does get a bit rank with two vieing for it. Worth the money.
