Great toy if your dog likes this sort of thing
Very well built with high-quality parts, and easy to install in a tree (you’ll probably need a ladder, though). The ball part is bright green and attention-getting for almost every dog — except mine, apparently, who just stood and watched as I swung the ball around and tried to get him to interact with it. Can’t blame that on the product, though, and the doggo is a very good boy, otherwise. If YOUR dog likes to play with balls, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Great!
It is super good! My hunting dog I thought would like it but she’s more into chasing balls across the yard so she never used it but if your dog likes to tag, it’s a perfect gift!

Best Entertaining Dog Toy!
If you have an overly hyperactive dog/puppy than this tree tugger is what you need to keep your dog happy and entertained. I have a 10-month doberman pincher who has literally destroyed every toy I purchased, except this tree tugger. It is still intact and hanging as firm as it did when I first got it. She absolutely loves this thing.

Nylon rope frays easily but puppy loves it
Arrived today, set up immediately and my puppy loves it. The only issue I can see is the nylon rope frays easily and he may be able to chew theough it quickly. We’ll see.

Worth it!
This toy has provided much needed entertainment for my one year-old Dutch Shepherd. She loves playing with it!I will have to replace rope cause her goal is to get the ball😂

Not durable 🙁
The sheer joy this brought me, watching my dogs struggle at first was almost worth the price. But alas, it didn’t even last half a day. My dog used it as intended, grabbed onto the ball and play tug-o-war. And he split the ball in half! I thought maybe it was along the seam and Baumé the seam was bad? Nope! It’s next to the seam, but it’s own fresh slice. So… back to the drawing board. They loved it while it lasted. They just need a more solid ball option. They say it’s “max toughness” it’s not. It’s weak. Hoping I can find a ball alternative and still use the rest.

Fantastic toy for GSD and dogs that like to play tug-o-war
We got this 6 months ago and it is our German Shepherd’s favorite outside toy. It is the first thing she runs to when she goes outside. She will try to pull it off the rope with all her strength until she eventually launches it and has to go chase it down. She’s obsessed! She is a very powerful chewer and destroys even the most durable rubber toys. It isn’t a matter of if she will destroy it, but when. This toy has lasted so much longer than other toys, even high end ‘indestructible’ toys that cost 3 or 4 times as much. After a 6 month battle with the toy, she has won. I think our main mistake was that we didn’t bring it in during the snow storms. The freezing temperatures must have made it more brittle, since we immediately noticed a crack start to form on the green ball as she played with it in the snow, which slowly spread until she we able to completely rip it off.I am definitely buying another one!A couple tips for strong chewers-Supervision is key at first for smart dogs. Our GSD quickly realized that the easiest way to get the ball is to chew through the thin bungie ropes. However, we were there to redirect her to the ball. After a few times, she stopped trying to chew through the bungie rope part. She must have realized that it is more fun to chase and pull on the ball than simply trying to solve the problem of how to get it.-Make sure the ball hung high enough up where your dog can’t casually stand there and chew on the ball or ropes with their powerful back teeth. This doesn’t mean hang it super high so they have to jump for it, but just so they can’t hold it without there being some resistance on the rope. If there is some resistance they will want to pull back instead of destructively chew.-Bring it inside during extra cold weather.

My dog loves this!
A must for any working breed! The tree tugged is a fantastic outdoor toy to enjoy with your dog! The toy attaches easily to a tree, allowing your dog to engage in solo tug-of-war play, which helps promote physical activity and mental stimulation. Be advised, you do need a very strong tree branch depending on the size of your dog.Constructed with durable, high-quality materials, the Tree Tugger withstands vigorous play and rough handling, making it suitable for even the most energetic dogs. The adjustable height feature accommodates dogs of various sizes and ensures a customizable play experience. Additionally, its easy setup and portability make it convenient for use in different outdoor settings. Overall, the Jolly Pets Tree Tugger is an excellent addition to any pet owner’s collection, encouraging healthy exercise and interactive play for dogs.

I’ve had this for a few years now and my dog has chewed up the part just above where the ball is and it’s still in one piece! She even dangles her body off of it and it’s still strong. She love this thing and it’s funny watching her hop around for it. I’ll definitely be buying another one once this one breaks!
