Hartz UltraGuard Rid Flea & Tick Oatmeal Dog Shampoo provides your pup with relief from fleas and ticks. The cleansing formula kills fleas and ticks through contact. This shampoo is enriched with oatmeal to help provide soothing relief from itchy or irritated skin. Made for dogs or puppies 6 months of age and older. To use, wet pet’s coat thoroughly with water and rub shampoo into coat, ensuring not to get suds into the eyes. Massage from head to tail until coat is completely covered with a foamy lather. Let stand or continue to massage for 5 minutes. Rinse and towel dry. Repeat weekly if necessary.

Works.
Actually worked. I have a German shepherd who likes to lay out in the dirt and soak up the sun. I noticed he was scratching himself a lot so I got this stuff. It lathers up good and was able to get through his fur. The stuff is runny but it works excellent and it’s cheap. After I lathered the stuff and scratched it into his fur for several minutes, I washed it out with regular shampoo. I mean, it’s a pesticide. Would you wash your own hair with it? Overall it works. He’s not scratching anymore.

Helped our puppy
My multipoo puppy got fleas, and this shampoo really helped! It took two baths before I noticed a difference. It made her fur soft, and it smells good too. It’s good flea control. After the first bath, I saw those fleas jumping out like crazy, but it didn’t get rid of them entirely. So I tried it a second time a few days later, and I haven’t seen any fleas or her itching.

This is the only shampoo I uses on my dog, she has sensitive skin and this works for her. I also like the smell.

Product was packaged very well, but still managed to have a crack under the bottle and it leaked. I got the refund and with the leaked product I tried washing my pet. The shampoo itself does not really kill any fleas or ticks. Kind of disappointed with the quality will not be ordering again.

Actually works
This actually works!! Have a corgi who’s double coated and just a quick squirt and rub in of this stuff and the fleas just fall off. Literally fall off dead. It’s worth every penny if not more. Smells great and corgi is clean
