Excellent clippers, easy to use and cuts small dog nails cleanly. Doesn’t scare my dog either. I like that I’m not going to trim too short with the guide. Excellent product compared to more expensive versions. This one lasts!

Love the guard and sharpness of clippers
These dog nail clippers with guard worked wonderful on my huge Anatolian Shephard’s thick nails.They were nice and sharp so their durability is good.The strange things they want in a review like hair removal and battery life make no sense because neither of those apply to this product.They are weighted well but I did not like that the handles were too short for me to get them into the right positions for my huge dog.I would recommend they make a version that is about 3″ longer so they are more flexible to use. That is the only reason for 4 stars.I love the optional metal swing guard that allows you to rest the dog nail onto it before you clip.Always have styptic powder on hand when cutting nails just in case you get the quik.

Sharp, Smooth, and Cat-Approved
These clippers work perfectly. They’re sharp, precise, and make clean cuts without crushing or splitting the nails. My cat doesn’t mind them at all, which says a lot. Comfortable grip and solid build quality — makes trimming quick and stress-free.

Fast, clean cuts, minimal fuss
The main thing that I can say is that I was able to cut the nails on my fussy cat fast enough with these that she didn’t overly struggle, growl, hiss or try and spit. I was able to clip her nails and finish each paw within a few short seconds. Something I have not always been able to do with other clippers. So that is a plus for me. The compact size makes it fairly comfortable to hold in the hands, but are not too small to feel like you are trying to use kids clippers or something. I am an adult with larger hands, so it still felt fairly comfortable to use. For the cat, well she lived to fight another day and I didn’t walk away covered in scratches or cat spit. So it works for me.

Great for small dogs
Our 2 small dogs always have a hard time getting their nails trimmed and it costs too much to get it done at the vet so we decided to spend the $13 on these and I have to say they are easy to use, not painful for the dogs, and does the job well for a fair price.

Get the right size!
While the clipper itself was very nicely designed, apparently the ones I ordered were for medium and large dogs. I did not see that anywhere in the ad. My dog is tiny and when I used it on her, the guard was too big and it cut her way too short. I only cut one nail but still, it was very painful for her. I had to return it. I’m sure if you get the right size, it would be a great clipper.

Love, love this tool! I used to feel nervous about trimming my doodle’s nails, but not anymore. The safety guard makes it easy and worry-free, and the built-in nail file is a nice bonus. Great quality and super comfortable to use!

My 16 year old whippet would never leave me trim his nails, instead I have to take him to the groomers just for nails! It cost me $18 each time, it adds up.He has had sone health issues and he is quite skinny at the moment and he needed a trim, but I was a bit too conscious about the looks at him he would get there, where they know him, he is doing treat considering a week ago I thought he was going to leave us anytime. This situation prompted me to purchase this cutter.Today my son held him and I used the clippers on him. The attachment at the back helped me enormously to gauge myself and I cut all 10 front ones and a couple from the hind legs. One of them bled a tad, but after applying some corn flour it stopped.Nice and sharp, easy to go through his tough nails, some needed a bit more pressure though. Overall, I’m thrilled with the purchase!

Nice little clippers, bought as a replacement for an old set so I could have a new sharp set for my ancient rabbit needing a trim.He’s an incredibly old eldritch beast of a rabbit and feels very birdboned so I tend to prefer to be very gentle when handling him which luckily he is more than happy to tolerate.The blades are sharp, the mechanism is smooth when you squeeze and you get a nice quick chop out of it with good control so I’m glad we bought these.They do have a quick guard to control the amount you trim but we have not needed it as our cryptid’s nails grow very fast and I always need to take off a little more than the guard allows and I tend to go for speed doing these jobs (luckily for me his claws are all white/clear enough to see the quick) but it does just slide out of the way easily when you’re not using it so that’s great.We got the smaller size as rabbit claws aren’t known to be super chunky but I reckon it would work well for most small/medium dog breeds as well, honestly.Good value for money, sturdy, thick comfortable handle with good grip but not so chunky you can’t maneuver when needed.Fastest nail trim session in a while.Eldritch beast approved.
