My Senior Golden Retriever Actually Eats These Joint Chews
As the owner of a 9-year-old golden retriever who turns his nose up at most supplements, I decided to try these joint care soft chews last week after hearing good reviews from a friend. The first thing that impressed me was how eagerly my typically picky dog accepted these treats – he actually sits by the cabinet where I keep them each morning, waiting for his daily chew! The texture seems to be the winning factor – they’re soft and chewy rather than hard like some other similar products, making them much more appealing to my golden. The scent is mild and not overly medicinal, which I appreciate since some pet supplements have an off-putting smell that fills the room. I like that the bottle contains 180 chews, which is substantially more than other brands I’ve tried, meaning fewer repeat purchases and better value overall. The size of each chew is appropriate for my medium-large dog – not so small that he gulps it without chewing, but not so large that I need to break it up. The packaging is well-designed with a secure lid that keeps the chews fresh but isn’t difficult to open. There are a few minor drawbacks worth mentioning – the chews can become slightly sticky if left in a warm area, so proper storage is important. Also, while my dog loves the flavor, they do leave a slight residue on my fingers when handling them. The ingredients list is impressively comprehensive compared to some competitors, including components like glucosamine and omega-3s that are often recommended for senior dogs. For pet owners looking for a supplement their dog will actually willingly consume without the usual struggle of hiding pills in food or forcing them down, these soft chews offer a palatable option that even my finicky golden retriever looks forward to each day.

My dog is picky but he loves this dribbled on his food! He’s got arthritis and seems to have more jump so far. I am impressed, especially that I don’t have to pay $50 at the vet.

I’ve waited a few months to give an honest review. I have used 3 other products and they were all more expensive and didn’t work as well. I have a 12 yr old lab that was having a very hard time standing without help. After using Hip and joint he has made drastic changes for the good. Granted its not a miracle supplement but I could not see me stopping using it. It’s not overnight but if you commit to it for 3 to 4 months you will see a big difference. Hip and joint is better than the other products twice the price and half the size. There is no sign of pain and gets up a lot quicker and easier.

Works for my 16 yr old a Pekingese!
Really like this glucosamine for my baby girl. She has tolerated it well and at 16 yrs seems to be helping her with her. In fact, she had a running spell just the other day and wants to walk a lot more than usual. Will reorder it again as long as she is showing improvement.
