The Franklin Pet Supply-Ready Set Fetch Automatic Tennis ball launcher is the ultimate interactive pet toy. Your dog will love the distance this unit will launch the balls. They will keep coming back again and again. Once your dog places the standard sized tennis ball or all-weather ball into the top of the feeder, the internal mechanism will process the ball through its chamber and an optional warning sound will be heard prior to launch for safety. The set includes a power adapter, official RSF tennis ball, and specially made all weather launcher ball. Take this toy anywhere with its built-in carry handle and battery compartment. Batteries sold separately!

    Obsessed
Our pup is obsessed with this!! We play it twice a day for about 20 minutes at time or we go outside to play. Chasing and retrieving is life for our doodle. I found that when using tennis balls they get wet and don’t go as far so we have about 40 tennis balls and use each ball twice before moving on to the next one. The other thing is that many have stated it quit working after a bit. That happened to us. After two a day play time for two weeks ours started to get loud and slow down, to the point that the balls shooting out would bounce out about 2-3 feet away. Then it just stopped working. So I was going to throw it away and buy a new one. Like I said our dogs obsessed. Once I saw again how much I paid for it, I was not about to do that. So my son in law took it apart and found the two motors had collected all this dark hard melted plastic (tennis ball fuzz) and some un-melted tennis ball fluff that had been collected from all the tennis balls. Which explained the EXTRA long fuzz on the actual tennis balls as well. Had to use pliers and tweezers to get it out, wiped it clean, put it back together and it works like new. We are now using smooth plastic, rubber or foam like tennis balls and let me tell you no issues but they fly even further and we just need to wipe them down with a towel after each use or they don’t go far.

Too Loud for No Reason at All
Engineer here, and this launcher is way noisier than it should be, even at the lowest power setting. The launcher works very well, and my dog absolutely loves it, but it is too loud to have anywhere other than a remote location, like outdoors or in a basement, away from daily life (see video). And the worst part is, there’s absolutely no mechanical reason for it to be this loud. I think the APU on a commercial airliner is quieter. Had to return it, much to the dismay of my dog. Will have to find a different version.

The machine is fine, my dog is broken!
The machine itself works just as it should! It is easy to use – you or the pup are simply supposed to put the ball in the top “hopper” & it shoots it out. It has “legs” underneath so you can adjust the pitch of the throw. It is louder but not obnoxious, totally tolerable! My 1 year old dog is OBSESSSED with playing ball so we bought this hoping he would learn to play ball with himself after we are done for the day (because he is NEVER done!). Sadly, he doesn’t feel he should be the one to put the ball back into the hopper for a new pitch & feels he is above that & that his humans should serve him. Good product for normal dogs, not ones like my entitled boy lol.

    It was great –
The product was wonderful and provided fun exercise for our dog – while it worked. We bought it in October of 2024 and used it a few times until the weather got cold, after which it was stored in our garage until summer of 2025. Upon using itthis summer, we noticed that the male part of the plug had retracted into the plastic body frame of the machine. The only way to turn it on now is by installing D batteries. The machine that was once able to launch 45 feet, now struggled to launch 15 feet. Moreover, the motor is now louder and despite turning it in the OFF setting, the launcher remains ON if the ball distance dial is not turned to the far left position. Regretfully, I would not recommend this product if you are looking for a reliable ball launcher for your dog.

    Cool product, but loud!
Hoped to be able to use indoors but this unit is so loud. It does work well though as long as the tennis balls aren’t too wet. The rubber balls flew much further. If you have a goofy dog like me that won’t get out of the way, this thing can output the ball pretty hard and fast. Be prepared! It’s a good size for portability. It doesn’t seem to be made of the thickest plastic so durability could be questionable. I’m excited for it to get warmer out in Ohio so we can let the pups use it outside.

Lots of exercise for the whole family
The greatest toy for our Rottweiler. The only drawback is that a human has to eventually go out and collect the balls.

Holy cow this is a game changer!
My 7 month old Lab puppy LOVES this, my Golden could care less lol. Machine is a bit loud, kind of sounds like a small plane landing. We use this outside and then bring in to shoot down the hall while we are watching tv at night. She did put the ball in a few times on her own but is still learning how to do this. This truly is amazing, she gets so happy when we pull it out, sure beats throwing the ball 300 times a day. I recommend having additional tennis balls ready to go, when they get wet they don’t shoot as far. We just use a rotation of about 20 different tennis balls, they are all store bought standard size. It does shoot pretty far but if it’s not change the tennis ball to a drier ball and put it at a higher speed on the side. First time using this I shot a ball down the hall and it was like a pinball hitting the ceiling and each door pretty hard, Leia loved it but boy was it loud. The spiky ball they send is super hard so be careful that doesn’t hit you pet in the face. Great product!

    Not worth it.
It does work. But only about 10 feet with the tennis ball. Maybe 20 with the red ball. Disappointing. Even my Poodle was like “that’s it?” I’m sorry, it will go back. If I was using it only indoors I’d say go for it. But nah, I’ll be looking for something more strong
