my dog actually enjoys this toothpaste. Does not give me a hard time using it at all. I put it on my finger and just rub it on his teeth and gums. I do think it’s making a difference. He loves the peanut butter flavor

Great kit with excellent instructions and tips for first-timers
I got the peanut butter flavor, and though it smells like peanut butter, my dog did not even like the smell of it and rejected it! However, he does like peanut butter, so go figure.Since he is a good dog – Shichon – he tolerates me using the finger brush. I have to promise him a treat in order to have him cooperate (and I use Minties for that). I haven’t moved to the bristle brush yet to know how he will do.This kit is very much worth it – you get so much in it. I will buy again but try another flavor next time.It is a little sticky, but reading the ingredients, there is no sugar or artificial sweeteners.I haven’t yet determined how well I’m getting his teeth clean, but the finger brush alone should help.

I’ve tried brushing my dog’s teeth before and it wasn’t pleasant for anyone- So when my vet suggested I get back on it- I was bummed! This product was approved by my personal vet and it was well rated, so I tried it out. It’s been 1 week and my dogs are obsessed with the flavor of the toothpaste and I’m happy to report…it’s going so well!

Gets rid of plaque, whitens teeth, abd breath smells fresh
I have two 25 lb. dogs (3 and 10) who are aggressive chewers so with dental bones, collagen sticks, and yak cheese, their teeth are in great shape – except the eye teeth where plaque had started and turning yellow. Their vet recommended putting them under and having their teeth cleaned. I did that once with my 10 year old during COVID and he came home with no bottom teeth and without my permission- though the vet I have now is wonderful and would never do that. I was drawn to this product and learned it was created by a veterinarian who seems to care. The kit comes with 4 cute cards on a ring telling you each day how to slowly introduce them and have them enjoy this over a daily 4 week time. I never got past the 2nd card for by then my dogs were happy, and a treat afterwards helps. I give them baby carrots which they absolutely love. What is amazing is the plaque is now totally gone on both – a plaque scraper took it off easy. The 3 year old teeth are back to white, and the 20 year olds are fading. The best part is how better their breath smells, and we’ve cut the expensive dental bones down to just 3 times a week. Lastly, my vet was absolutely amazed! But she does push teeth brushing for all owners, and lived the use of the 4 cards that helps those new to this to go slow and make it enjoyable. Only takes about 10 – and healthy chew treats and toys help as well.

Doesn’t work as well as the other toothpaste I usually use for my dogs and my dogs don’t like it as much. The other stuff is twice as much though, so I guess you get what you pay for.

My dogs love this toothpaste, my puppy steals the tube and bites/licks it when I brush her older siblings teeth! The brush is okay, frays really easily and the 360 degree end is far too large for my dachshund’s mouths. The finger brush is genius!Why can’t I buy the toothpaste on its own? I won’t be repurchasing in the future because I don’t need another kit but I would love to buy the toothpaste.
