Working very well, I like the bottom tray and bag system. Another plus is the ridgid platform the litter fabric is supported by, makes any needed scraping from damaging the fabric material.

smaller than expected but cats somehow love it
I get this item to cut down on scooping and it works as promised. the drum cycles on schedule and the app shows the runs, so I can check from another room. clumps fall into the drawer and odor is low as long as I change the liner and charcoal on time. the build feels stable with no creaks and the sensor stops a cycle when a curious cat steps in. litter tracking is less than with an open pan because of the entry, though I still use a mat. cleaning is not hard since parts come apart for a rinse, and the weight is manageable when I move it for a deeper clean. overall it keeps the box fresher and saves me a few trips with the scoop every day

Great litter robot so far
My husband put the litterbox together and said he encountered no issues. It functions perfectly so I am assuming that it must have been assembled correctly.The litterbox is tall but otherwise, it does not have a very large footprint. It takes up a little bit more floor space than an XXL litter pan. It needs to be close to an outlet.The directions are pretty clear, and they give you some tips on how to introduce your cat(s) to it, which are very helpful. They suggest that you not plug it in right away to let your cats get used to seeing and eventually using it. Thankfully, when the Orbitie is operating, it does not make much noise. It is very quiet. And it sifts the litter very efficiently. Very little litter is wasted, unlike a previous automatic litterbox that we had.I have only tried one type of litter in this litterbox as of yet. It was a litter that I had gotten to try for free through the Amazon Vine program that I found to work exceptionally well at clumping and for odor control. When I went through my previous orders, I found that it was also made by ELS Pet. It is expensive, but it works very well in this litterbox. It is very fine, almost like sand.To my surprise, the first cat that started using this box is our fattest one. I never thought she would ever use it, not only because of her size but also because she is one of our oldest cats. But she uses it more than some of our youngest ones. We have 8 cats, 7 of which are former ferals. 4 of those are 2-year-olds from the same litter. So far, I have only seen two of those young ones using this box. But the box is in an area of our house that we do not frequent very often so more cats may very well be using it without our knowledge.Two of the cats that regularly use the Orbitie are notorious for their dump and run habit, especially after a #2, so having a robot doing a timely dispatch of the offending deed makes the price tag more than worth it, in my opinion.Not having to worry about a soiled litterbox if you are on a weekend trip or a longer than expected day trip is priceless. No more judgy stink eye from the felines when you return.

Assembly was simple and straightforward, and the included instructions were clear. After pairing the app and getting used to the controls, it went into service without much trouble. My feline crew inspected it thoroughly and, after some paw-tapping negotiations, gave it their approval. Watching them on the cameras was pure comedy — one cat inside doing business while another sat outside trying to “claim” it with a swat. Feline politics never fail to entertain.This litter box handles day-to-day cleanup well. The app control works smoothly, notifications are accurate, and the safety sensors stop the cycle instantly if a cat gets too close. It’s quiet in operation, and the built-in mat keeps most stray litter contained. The waste drawer is easy to empty, and the provided liner rolls fit perfectly. Not an upgrade to the Spaceship.
Update: returned Ned this one and repo chased the spaceship. My cats and I prefer it better. Customer service at ELS pet have been very helpful. Will continue purchasing from this company.This might be good for one small cat, but not for 2. I had the spaceship before this one and it was incredible for over 2 years. I thought I was upgrading. Nope! Sending it back and the new Spacehip is on its way.Also, the system was dumping 1/2 the litter out on each cycle. Making it impossible for the “14 day” hands off.
