The Doggie Dooley Pet Waste Disposal System works like a miniature septic tank, utilizing natural bacteria and enzyme cultures to reduce dog waste to a ground absorbing liquid. The Doggie Dooley requires some installation by digging a hole in the yard. Add waste from your yard on a regular basis adding water each time you add waste. Add 1 Waste Terminator tablet per dog each week. The Doggie Dooley is a neat, clean, convenient way to dispose of dog waste. The Model #3000 Doggie Dooley features a galvanized steel tank and has a foot operated lid opener. The Waste Terminator is a non-toxic, mixture designed especially for dog waste. The Doggie Dooley is harmless to pets, lawns, and shrubs – an excellent way to dispose of dog waste safely and control odors. Note, like a home Septic system or Outhouse, there will always be dog waste in the Doggie Dooley. The waste breaks down continually, from a solid to a ground absorbing liquid. Works in all soil conditions except hard clay and heavy sand. Note, the Doggie Dooley works best in climates above 40F. During the winter months, activity will slow. When the yard is covered with snow, do not add any waste to the Doggie Dooley, wait until Spring again. Model #3000 is our septic tank model and comes in one-size-fits-all, for use for up to 4 small dogs. For other style Doggie Dooley’s, search Amazon for other models!

Easiest Dog Waste Management System Ever!
We currently have 3 dogs, 2 smalls (10lbs) and 1 med/lg (60lbs). After many years of struggling with how best to dispose of dog poop and keep the yard clean (and the neighbors happy) – it seems we have finally found a system that is super easy, and super effective! We have been using the Doggie Dooley 3000 Septic-Tank-Style Pet-Waste Disposal System for about a week now, and are so impressed!! It is great to have a single place to collect the poop, there is no odor, and the maintenance is minimal! The hardest part was deciding where to put it – and digging the hole. Where we live, once you get about 3 feet down you hit red clay – so we did a little drainage test to make sure the water would absorb in a timely fashion before we finished our Doggie Dooley installation. Once you have it installed – just fill the tank, add the appropriate number of enzyme tablets – and the system is ready to start handling your messy dog waste! We add a gallon of clean water every morning, and add collected poop throughout the day (add new tablets 1x week). The only time we have noticed an odor is when we add the fresh water and are churning up the poop water in the tank – but that is minimal – and once the lid is closed you wouldn’t even know it was there. If you have curious dogs – like ours – then I recommend installing the tank somewhere that the dogs don’t have access, because the lid is easy to open and does not have a latch. Also, be careful of splash back when adding new poop or water to the tank. We keep a full gallon jug of clean water beside the tank to make things easy – rather than dragging out the hose every morning. I am so glad we finally decided to give this a try – so far so good!

No more garbage poo!!
This is one of the most exciting products I’ve heard about. I have been wanting to get rid of my garbage service for a while now, compost most everything and have very little waste. Well, dog poo was a large portion of our garbage, as we have two labs. Throwing it at the back of the yard to decompose naturally was not an option. My wife told me about a septic system specifically made for dog poo that she had heard about. I was like “Seriously?! Awesome!!” So, a quick search on Amazon brought me to this item. I had no hesitation in ordering this item based on reviews and the whole concept. I’ts been up and running for about two weeks. I use two tablets per week and seems to be working just fine. Not sure if the powder is any better. At this point I would say buy it!Notes: They say to dig a four foot hole, and that’s it. They don’t say to fill it with anything. I can’t imagine the plastic cover being able to support over forty pounds. I decided to fill the hole with drain rock until this item sits on top of the rock and is flush with the ground. How it works: You buy it, bury it, fill it with water, throw a couple tablets in to get the bacteria started. Then throw a day or two worth of poo in, but no more, you don’t want to overload the system. Each day you pour a gallon of WARM water in to “flush” the system. This stirs everything up, raises the water level, and empties waste into the four foot hole you dug. Then scoop daily poo into this unit.Is this smelly? Yes and no. When it’s closed for the day you don’t smell it, but when you open it to make a deposit, yes it’s very smelly! Overall this won’t stink up the whole neighborhood. Might not be best put in a place of direct sunlight for most the day as the sun will break down the plastic very fast. I believe the fact that the bacteria doesn’t work well below 40 degrees, I don’t work well under 40!!Highly recommended!!

Not For Clay Soil
I wanted one of these, but decided to use an old garbage can instead. I dug a deep hole, cut the bottom off the can, only to discover that I did not have a lid for the can. I REALLY like the lid on this product, it looks durable and easy to use. I did not relish the though of lifting the lid every time I scooped. So I bought one of these to use in my hole about a month ago.Well, it turns out this is a mini septic tank. The bottom can is sealed on the bottom and has an overflow tube. It uses the type of composting that is in water. You add enzymes to break down the waste, and then what’s left flows over the top of the overflow tube and into the ground.I also discovered, after reading the instructions, that this will not work in clay soil. My soil is so clay, I added a little water to make it easier to dig, and the water stayed for days!Seeing that this type of composting would not work for me, I modified mine. I cut the bottom off, used the can as a lid, (I know an expensive lid!), and used it that way. My hole, big enough for a garbage can was too big, so I cut pieces of my garbage can (plastic) and put it around the Dooley and filled in my hole around it.It works great so far. The top flange and the lid itself are plastic, so I worry about sun damage and cracking, but so far so good. Since my soil is clay, water drains very slowly out of my hole. I dropped some of the enzyme pellets in anyway to see what happens. There is still a lot of water in my hole, but so far no smell. It has been cold, so it might be worse in the summer. LOTS OF FLYS!!!! But I figure better inside the Dooley, than outside in the yard. At least the spiders will be able to feed of the Dooley that having to build webs all over the yard like they do now.So check your soil to make sure it can absorb the water from this mini septic tank before buying.

Send to be fit for purpose. Worst bit? I have to dig a1.2 metre/4 foot deep hole to sit it in. I live on very rocky ground but it’s achievable, I hope 😂

I owned one of these many years ago and just got this new one. Works great, not smelly like you would think. In fact you get worse smell picking up the dog poo than from the tank!

Super consigliato.
