My 9-week-old Puppy Stopped Her Incessant Barking on Day One!
This is a game-changer! My 9-week-old Pomeranian would not respond to positive reinforcement when it came to her whining/attention barking. After playtime and cuddles, I’d put her back in her playpen and the loud barking and whining would commence. I tried saying “Quiet” and rewarding her with treats when she obeyed, but it was short-lived. This little gadget came a day early and I was more than excited –– and skeptical.To test it out, I cuddled her for a bit and then put her back in her playpen. After I walked away she started to bark and whine. I said, “Quiet” and she continued. I quickly pressed this device and said “Quiet” again. Her ears perked up and she got as silent as a mouse. I said, “Good girl!” and a couple of minutes later cuddled with her again. I put her back in her playpen and not a peep!This was the first use of the device and it was a success. She normally is a loud and incessant barker. She barely whimpered.Ten minutes later I was playing with her sister and she wanted attention so she barked once (a HUGE improvement) and I said “Quiet.” She barked lightly and I pressed the device and said “Quiet.” Not a peep!Later, I picked her up again and cuddled a bit, then put her back in her playpen. Not a peep! Complete silence (whereas before she’d wine and bark loudly for at least a minute).If your dog does not respond to positive reinforcement I definitely recommend this device. Use short bursts, not lengthy ones … as a quick click is all that was needed for my pup. The goal is to get her to respond to your voice and use the device less.NOTE: This worked on one pup. My other one, (same age/litter) doesn’t seem to respond as well to it. I will see if she improves. But for the first one, the major attention/whining barker, this is a game-changer.UPDATE: Day 2 and no more whining/attention-seeking barking fits from the main little one. She barked a quick “Woof” (I guess she forgot) that night I got this, but quickly caught herself. My second Pom is taking longer to catch on. I have to use it more often. I press it as she is barking, then tell her “Quiet.” She simmers down and whimpers more instead. Hopefully, this will work with her too.However, I am now pleasantly sleeping through the night. Finally waking up feeling rested after a long and uninterrupted sleep! Forget those stupid YouTube videos that take weeks to train a dog not to attention bark and whine — so useless. I am so glad I found this device! Definitely worth every penny and my sanity.UPDATE: So, this works amazing for one dog and not so well for the other (same age/same litter). The first dog is virtually silent re: Aggressive/Whining Barking. The second starts her bark fest each morning as soon as she hears my feet hit the floor. I have to push this a number of times while she barking for her to settle into a quiet whine. So I am going to order an Ultrasonic Bark device for her. She eventually settles but it takes way too long, and too many alerts.NOTE: I purchased the Ultrasonic Bark device (which humans can’t hear) and my 2nd pup finally shut her mouth! I really like this device, but prefer something silent for traveling and when the pups are out with me running errands. I can use the silent device in more situations, instead of just at home (with this device because it’s loud).The fact that we can hear this device is the only con. Otherwise, it works great. However, the discomfort associated with the Ultrasonic barking device is more motivation for some dogs who ignore commands.

The lady at the rescue that we adopted our dog from suggested this and IT WORKS. Our dog Moo was a jumper from the beginning, which is why she suggested this. Moo would jump vertically and try to kiss/lick faces. We’d only have to tap the button lightly and she would stop. Sometimes just showing it to her would be enough of a deterrent. Here are suggestions for the best success: Start with this as soon as you notice bad habits and reward them when your pup follows directions. Do not overuse it! We made sure to use the device only when we went to someone else’s house or when we’d be around children. Fortunately for her, their faces are within licking distance. Lol. We integrated it with other correcting techniques. My final suggestion is to warn people before using it! It is LOUD. We almost gave my father-in-law a heart attack. FYI, I’ve also brought it with me on hikes. Who knows if it would scare a coyote but it can’t hurt to carry it anyway.

It WORKS!!!
The thing works! It makes an “electrical sound” which is not pleasant to my puppy’s ears and worked the very 1st time. Used it to get him to stop jumping up on people and pulling when leashed. After one time, I only have to show him while he is being naughty and seems to be enough. It is amazing. There is no collar, just a sound. If you make this purchase, use this aid responsibly and out of reach of children and others that are not disciplined to use it appropriately. The corrector could be torture in the wrong hands. Very effective and fun to surprise your friends as well.

It actually works!
Our nine dogs can be awful. They act like a pack, and bark their little asses off. It is enough to drive you nuts! Over the years, we have tried everything from good old fashioned yelling to bark collars without any noticeable impact. Some products, like the Sonic Egg, seemed like a miracle at first.. and then the dogs got used to it, and barked over it anyhow. When I saw the “Doggie Don’t”, I wasn’t overly hopeful, but I still bought it.We have been using it for a little over a month now, and I am happy to say it mostly works. The worst barking time for our dogs is when we come home. Now, a couple commands followed by a press of the button, and they quiet down. It isn’t perfect, but that is ok. It catches their attention, and we are able to break the cycle of obsessive barking. The improvement has been worth the money.

Simple to Use and Loud Annoying sound
Open the box and push the button on the device and it has an annoying sound. That’s not easy to ignore. I don’t know how well it’s gonna work for the barking, but I do see it three hounds attention. I like the fact that it does not hurt the dog, and I was looking for an audible solution instead of an ultrasonic one I have tried several ultrasonic devices that do not work. Too soon to tell how well it’ll work, but it’s a simple device easy to use and has a USB cable included for charging.

Doggie Don’t Works
This is my second review for Doggie Don’t because it is such a wonderful device that actually works. The first time I talked about how it worked with my dog, Simon. Now I’ll tell you about how well it works with my roommate’s dog, Willow. Sheis a Chihuahua Yorkie mix that would bark at everything. And I do mean everything!! If company would come over, it was hard to carry on a conversation because she kept barking, even if she had met this person before. I love the sound of thunderstorms, but I couldn’t hear or enjoy them anymore because Willow would not stop barking. All that has changed, thanks to Doggie Don’t! My roommate recently had a nurse come by to check on his health. Willow started barking when the nurse knocked on the door and didn’t stop. I grabbed Doggie Don’t, said Hush in a calm voice and she stopped barking. When the nurse got up to take my roommate’s vitals, Willow started barking. I have three small formerly yappy dogs who made our daily walks difficult with their barking at other dogs and people we would meet along the way. They also yapped incessantly when I came home and whenever anyone came over for a visit. I used it once right after I received it, followed by a sharp command, “No barking” and miracle of miracles, my two younger dogs instantly stopped barking. One more use when a visitor came to the door. The third time only required me to show it to the two younger dogs and say “No barking”. It was not so effective on my older dog who is partially deaf, however, her barking has been reduced drastically because the other two are no longer barking. I carry it with me on my walks just in case I need it but haven’t had to use it. It does make a loud noise which would startle anyone who wasn’t first prepared for it.

I was skeptical at first, $100AUD for a device. I’ve tried handheld ultrasonic devices before and also compressed air cans. The videos of the doggiedont sound really do not do it justice, in person it is LOUD! It’s 1000% worth the money 🙌🏼
