Love the safety upgrades
Got my chick heat lamp in today. Love the look of it, the gold color adds a little something something to it. Great size, love how the light is not one of the bug bulky heat lamp style lights. Gets hot instantly when u turn it on. Can feel the heat coming off the light. Has 2 levels of heat, comes already assembled, just plug it in and go! Has secure hanging mechanism to hang it from, not the clamps that fall off traditional heat lamps. All in all great quality n safety improvements from the original models of heat lamps

Keep my chicks warm and comfy
This heater has worked great in my small coop. I like the two heat settings—it lets me adjust the temperature depending on the weather. The chicks are active and cozy, and I don’t have to worry about them getting chilled at night

Easy to install inside the coop, it delivers steady warmth without overheating. Whether you’re raising baby chicks or just helping your hens through winter, this brooder heater gets the job done without the fuss.

Junk
Not even worth one star. I’ve been waiting to use this once the cold weather came. It barely even glows orange. I have a regular lamp I used when raising my birds that is WAY hotter than this that I will have to use. Even on the high setting this doesn’t send heat out 6 inches from it.

Nice coop light with lots of heat
This coop light gives off a good amount of heat! I actually think it works better than the traditional clamp lights with the big red lightbuld. This one gives off not as much light, but lots of heat. It has two settings so you can turn it up to level 2 for more heat. I also like the chain adjustment for hanging height in your coop. It’s lightweight and well made.

Turtle loves it, I wish it had come with instructions
This is a great device! I love that the heating element comes with the dome, since usually you have to buy the dome separately from a “ceramic heater” and they break constantly. I can’t say how long this one lasts because I just set it up today. But my turtle definitely likes it!The ONE PROBLEM (and the reason it only gets 4 stars) is that there is no manual. Like it’s not in the box, and you can’t find one online. For most people, this would probably be fine, because it’s not that complicated. It literally comes in exactly three parts: the main apparatus, the chain it hangs from, and the wire cage thing that keeps the heater from getting too close to things. If you’re good with hands-on sorts of projects, (as I imagine most chicken keepers to be), it will probably come together in a snap. For me, assembly sucked because I had NO idea how to get the wire cage onto the apparatus. Eventually I figured it out, so I’m expecting my MENSA invite in the mail. But a manual still would have been good, even to have information like how hot it’s safe for it to be, etc.Overall good product, and should work for those who aren’t overthinkers.

Happy little chicks with this
Perfect for the fall and winter! This heater keeps the coop comfortably warm on chilly nights without getting too hot. It’s easy to hang, sturdy, and provides steady, reliable heat so my birds stay cozy and active. Great peace of mind when temps drop—highly recommend for cold seasons!

Keeps the coop toasty warm
Powerful heater that keeps a large coop nice and warm. I adjust the heat by raising or lowering it in proximity to the birds. It’s been amazing during our rainy season to keep my hens dry.
