I am so impressed with the Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve Organic Dog Shampoo and Conditioner Bar! My dog has very sensitive skin, and finding a shampoo that doesn’t cause irritation has been a challenge. This honey and oats bar is a game changer!The bar is easy to use and lathers up beautifully, which makes bath time quick and hassle-free. It rinses out easily, leaving my dog’s coat soft, clean, and smelling amazing. I love that it’s made with all-natural, organic ingredients—no harsh chemicals to worry about!What stood out most is how soothing it is for itchy, dry skin. Best soap for dogs!
So far, this is the best wash I’ve ever used for my dogs! I bought this soap months ago and I absolutely love it. It cleans perfectly, smells great, and makes their fur so soft! It’s perfect for dogs with sensitive skin.

Smells good and lathers well
I used this on my little dog, and it was a heck of a lot easier than liquid soap is.I’ve purchased Chagrin Valley shampoo bars for humans, and I LOVE them, so I figured their dog shampoo would be nice as well. I was not wrong–this soap smells fabulous! It was very easy to work into her fur, and though it took a little extra work to rinse out, I am overall pleased with the cleaning aspect of the performance.On the bug repellant, though, I do not see that it has any effect: She still scratches and I’m still finding fleas.She is on an oral flea killer, but there are still random fleas that wander through, which is why I went for this particular herbal bar.As a side note–this soap made my hands so soft!I subtracted one star for the non-flea-effect, but otherwise I love it.You should go check out the Chagrin Valley website–their shampoo bars are amazing! A “trial size” purchase lasts forever, so you can try a whole bunch of different ones before you settle on the one you like best. (the Cafe Moreno is my absolute fav, because it cleans my oily hair well, and smells fabulous)

I will be standing on the corner of 42nd in Broadway with a megaphone announcing this soap to anyone who has a dog, it is unbelievable how soft, how unscratching how shiny his coat looks and how happy he was, and the Cedar wood smell was amazing.It was like therapeutic shampoo for a dog

Finally! A gentle dog shampoo that lathers and rinses off perfectly!
No more bottled dog shampoo for my little girl! I finally gave bar shampoo a try and I was really happy that it lathered up nicely and didn’t have an overwhelming scent.It’s easy to move this shampoo around which means you won’t have to keep rubbing in more off the bar. If you have a spot that needs more shampoo, just add a little extra water where the fur is soapy and push it over. I love that I can do that now. I couldn’t with bottled shampoo which hardly lathers & requires constantly reaching for the bottle and using ridiculously more… it was a waste! I used very little of this bar soap and my baby is nice, clean & soft! This is going to last me quite a while.Because I was used to the watery, lack-luster lathering abilities of bottled shampoos, I first found this bar shampoo to feel very slippery, so I was worried how well it would rinse off. But. it made bathing her so much easier, AND it rinsed off beautifully!I’m going to keep this bar of soap in a small soap container once it dries since I don’t know if it will crack should it dry out too much, but a little care doesn’t take a lot of effort.As for the price, it may seem like a lot for a small bar, but compared to how much bottled shampoo I need to use just to get the same lather, it’s a lot less headache, and in my opinion, it’s actually a bargain! Plus, there’s no plastic bottle and it’s compact size doesn’t require a lot of space.I’m definitely happy with this product! Thank you!

It is great
The dog has sensitive skin and this bar doesn’t strip the oils from his skin or coat. He doesn’t fight us during his bath so, he’s more comfortable also. Scent is light, not perfumed. His coat comes clean, shines and is soft. The bar is much simpler to use than the liquid bottle. It lathers quickly. Highly recommend.

My wife recently bathed our dog with this. I was looking for something cruelty-free, and this was the most affordable option. I love that this is a bar. It’s a lot easier to make it “stick” where you want. With the liquid shampoo, it seems more of it ends up on the ground than on the dog. This seems like it’s going to last a lot longer.Before we used this, our dog still smelled after baths, and especially after spending time outside in the sun. It’s been 3 days since his last bath with this bar, and he still has no smell.We and “Cliff” thank you for this amazing product!
