Great but a little small
I’ve bought this multiple times. My cat loves these and the arch scratcher. The only issue is that the plastic piece the arch goes into has come out before making the arch difficult to reattach, meaning I had to buy a new one.They’re inexpensive, so once my cat has clawed it up, I throw them away. She spends a lot of time lying on this one, and prefers it over other cardboard scratchers. Also she looks pretty cute lying under an arch.This is the newest one I have received. You can see that the outside cardboard is a little loose/ ill-fitting. Also, it’s much smaller than my 15 pound cat. Even so, she loves it!!

I’ve had this Catstages Scratch & Groom station for about a month, and let me tell you—my cat has put it through serious use. It’s now practically unrecognizable because of how often he scratches at it, and that’s even after I flipped it to the other side to extend its life.Why It Stands OutI’ve tried every type of scratcher over the years—sisal rope, standard cardboard pads, even fabric-based posts—and none of them have held his attention like this one. The combination of the arching brush for self-grooming and the textured base seems to be irresistible. He rubs against the brush, scratches, lounges, and then comes back to it over and over throughout the day.DurabilityThe cardboard base definitely wears quickly with heavy use, but honestly, that’s the tradeoff for a scratcher he actually uses. Most scratchers sit untouched in the corner. Here, I’d rather replace or refresh the cardboard than waste money on something my cat ignores. Flipping it once gave me extra life, which was a smart design touch.Pros:• My cat uses it more than any other scratcher I’ve tried• Grooming arch adds extra appeal and keeps shedding hair in check• Affordable considering how much enrichment it provides• Base can be flipped for longer useCons:• Cardboard shows wear fast (especially with enthusiastic cats)• Doesn’t come with a replacement pad, so you’ll need to repurchase or DIY a fit laterVerdictIf your cat is picky with scratchers, this is worth the gamble. Loved the concept but not very durable
My cats love this however the bristles kept popping out. Cat scratcher is only one sided, making the other side a complete waste. Not very durable. My suggestion would be to make it double sided to last longer and find a better way to secure the bristles.

We’ve bought these over and over again. Our cats love these.
Warning: this product will cause a lot of vacuuming and clean-up.Our cats shred through these every few months. I’ve seen a lot of videos, articles recommending all sorts of materials for your cats scratching needs. I prefer this one.1) Does not snag kitty’s claws. I know how it feels when my nails snag on fabric, hair, etc. I couldn’t imagine being a cat and a scratching post snags the claws. I haven’t seen any of the cats ever get their claws snagged on this scratcher. Trust me, I watch them closely for any signs of trouble.2) It works. Hands down, both cats love this thing. The will go to it to scratch when they feel the need to instead of the furniture, the carpet, the door jams, etc.3) It was very easy to ‘train” our cats to use it instead of our furniture and home. All cats are different. Please know I am only referring to what I have experienced with our 2 cats. These two are night and day yet they both agree this is the thing to scratch and this is what keeps their claws healthy.4) It’s lightweight and surprisingly sturdy. I can move this with ease whenever I need to vacuum. It is compact enough to not be an eyesore. Yet it can handle the rumble and tumble play of the cats or even sleeping/lounging. One of the cats likes to move it around. It’s light enough to allow a soon-to-be 2-year-old kitty the fun of playing with this where ever she chooses.As stated early on in this review … this scratcher does come with a cost. Your cats, if they choose to use this, will shred this thing in a matter of months. That depends greatly on how often your cat(s) scratches and to what degree. I’ve tried other scratchers that give off less debris and my cats weren’t as happy with them. I believe they actually enjoy the shredding and sounds as well as the feel of the power behind their claws. Go figure!Bottom line: If you don’t mind the clean up this might be the perfect scratcher for your kitties. It comes with ready to use catnip to help attract them. It’s fun enough to keep them entertained. We will continue to buy these.

We have a Ragdoll, a Maine Coon and a DSH cat who all like to scratch the lounge. We have found since buying these are less inclined to attack the lounge.They enjoy scratching and lying on the “Petstages Cat Scratcher Cat Hammock Cat Scratching Post”
