High-Quality Salmon Treats My Shibas Absolutely Love
I recommend Bully Bunches Freeze-Dried Salmon as both a treat and a food topper. Our favorite friends, Kitsune and Inari, love these bite-sized pieces—the perfect size for training or rewarding without breaking them apart (though you can easily break them if you want). They’re made from 100% natural, single-ingredient, human-grade wild-caught sockeye salmon and freeze-dried to lock in nutrients and flavor. No fillers, no artificial ingredients.One detail I really appreciate is the smell—or rather, the lack of a fishy one. There is an odor, but it isn’t fishy or unpleasant in the least, and my Shibas go crazy for it. Just touching the bag gets their attention; opening it has them ready for snack time immediately.I couldn’t find sourcing or processing details on the product pouch (which is essential information for what I give my pups), so I went directly to the company’s website. There, I found that the treats are “made in the USA and packaged in Michigan, with a two-year shelf life.” They also mention meeting rigorous inspection and safety requirements for their treats. This gave me enough confidence to continue using and recommending the product.The value is excellent for such a high-quality, single-ingredient treat. My only request is for more transparent labeling, so I don’t have to go hunting for it: I’d appreciate seeing information on where the salmon is sourced, who supplies it, where it is processed, and any testing protocols. Transparency is essential when it comes to products for my most loved best friends.Even so, after researching and finding the information I needed, I’m giving these treats a full five stars. I don’t eat freeze-dried treats myself, but my puppy goes absolutely wild for these Bully Bunches Freeze-Dried Beef Liver cubes. They’re small, easy to portion (I scatter a dozen or so at a time when not training), and they disappear in seconds—woofed down like they’re the best thing in the world.Made from a single ingredient (human-grade beef liver, sourced and produced in the USA), with no grains, fillers, or additives. High protein and naturally nutrient-dense. The cubes are lightweight but dense enough to break into smaller pieces if needed for tiny pups or training.Perfect for reward-based training—my puppy sits, stays, and comes running the second he hears the bag rustle. Like the single ingredient, but very hard
The price of this chicken is comparable to the chicken I usually purchase, perhaps a little bit more expensive. My dogs seem to like it just fine. I usually take freeze dried treats, whether chicken or liver or something else, and crumble it to put over my dogs’ food to entice them to eat their food. We use them occasionally for training as well. My only complaint about these treats is how hard they are. Most freeze dried treats I can crush into crumbs or powders by simply squishing them between my fingers. These are much harder than that, and I’m really unsure why. The bag indicates they are single ingredient chicken, so there aren’t any additives or preservatives that might cause them to be hard. In order to get these treats to crumble I have to put them in a bowl and crush them with a jar, similar to how a mortar and pestle would be used. Other than being way too hard, I don’t have any other complaints. My dog with teeth is able to eat them easily, but my dog without teeth really struggles.

Yummy fish bits!
I’m always looking for treats or meal toppers to keep things interesting for my fur baby. I try to stick to single ingredient, human-grade, made-in-USA options and the Bully Bunches Freeze Dried Treats check all of those boxes. They come in a resealable pouch, which is great for keeping the smells in, and keeping the treats fresh. The salmon option has bits of fish skin on some pieces, so it’s clear this is actual salmon. It’s great to see that Bully Bunches does not add any preservatives either. The treats are easy for our dog to chew (soft enough) and raw meat is a great health booster. I recommend these 100%…of course the price reflects all of these benefits.

Freeze dried beef liver
Peculiar smell but my boys absolutely adore these. Easy to digest and wonderful for treats or a bit for training. Look into how many you can give your dog if you are worried. I find they smell a bit odd but honestly most dog treats can. My dogs again adore them and look forward to these as a little treat and may last us a bit. Will continue to purchase as we found a new fave for our boys.

Fur baby says they are very tasty.
I was surprised by how large the bag was and how many treats it contained. It says it’s only 3.5 oz or 100g, so I was expecting a lot less. These are freeze dried and they weigh next to nothing. It’s all about the flavor, our picky little girl would say if she could talk.We struggle with getting her to eat. These are good-sized treats, and I’m breaking 2 of them up when I feed her her evening meal and placing them under her soft kibble. This is working. She’s cleaned her bowl the last couple of days while trying these out, and without me sitting there with her, pleading for her to eat.She’s proud of herself for finishing her dinner and just wiggles at her bowl tell I come to see and tell her she’s a good girl. She’s then getting one more of the Bully bunches as her reward. I feel good about what she’s eating because it’s just one great healthy ingredient, ‘human grade’ sockeye salmon. It’s a win win for both us and our picky girl.

We really like freeze-dried treats as they go through way less processing than some of the other dog treats. Well. Our dog also has some skin issues and we know that salmon doesn’t seem to trigger them. Knowing that we’re getting salmon that has just been freeze-dried helps us to know that we are not going to be aggravating any itchiness that she may have. And she really likes the taste of them. The only thing with freeze dried is that it can get a little crumbly sometimes. So stick these in a small Ziploc bag in your pocket if you’re taking them out as walking treats.

Our dog loves these. She will sit, stay, lie down or jump up for these and likes them as much as any treat I’ve tried with her. I like that she’s getting the nutrition of liver without any bulking agents or other additives.

Freeze dried liver treats are certainly one of the best treats for dogs and have been a staple for ours for the last 7 years. We’ve used this brand before and our dog has zero complaints.We’ve often bought bulk bags of a different brand but found we always have to break up the pieces as they’re much too large. These are the perfect size for when you’re doing training with your dog (see picture). It’s way more convenient when you’re having to give them quickly to mark a behavior. Additionally they just so happen to be the perfect size for giving our dog her medication.At a price of $15.97 when I ordered, they are a bit more expensive than some of the larger bulk bags, but still a fair price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other dog owners as a treat staple.

Salmon freeze dried training treats- they have a bit of a strange smell but no yucky strong fish smell. No worries about getting them on the carpet. All natural. Each bite is quite small, made for training. Some of the pieces have actual fish skin on them. Some pieces are just skin. The package is resealable too. Dog loves it! Description is accurate. Currently $23 with an additional 2.50 off with coupon. Pricey but the quality is there and the Bully Bunches company has a great reputation.
