Cute, Sturdy, Functional
Once I got the correct size, this harness seems to be working out very well. I have to comment that there is a huge size difference between the medium and the large. My pup is still growing so sizing is difficult.I originally ordered a medium because that is the size of his current harness. But the medium felt more like a small or an XS so I had to return it. Since it was so small, I almost went for an XL, but after reading more reviews decided to get a large. And holy COW, it is WAY bigger than their medium!!!We went from Gus from Cinderella trying to fit into his sweater to a bit too big! But it’s okay because like I said, he is still growing. My pup is a mix of Chihuahua, husky, cattle dog, German shepherd, so a little bit of everything. He’s currently 34lbs and the large on the smallest setting is just a smidge loose but still works for him.It is overall very cute, seems sturdy, he walks well with it, and surprisingly putting it on and taking it off is pretty easy.There is a front clip and a rear clip and a handle on the top/back area.So far, I give it 5 stars….. once you get past cutting the bajillion zip ties they have holding it onto the piece of cardboard in the packaging 🤣

GREAT harness! Fits well and is easy to adjust and appears comfortable. We use it for travel in the car with a seat belt type harness for safety. I LOVE the handle on the top for extra safety and handling control when stopping at places like rest stations on the interstate. Our boy doesn’t wear it for long periods of time at home or every day. It appears to be a durable product with the perfect amount of thickness. Great value at a great price. Would buy again!

Great harness but the fit is wrong for a 20 lb mini doodle
The fit was completely wrong for a 20 pound Mini Doodle with a long neck and fit body. The top of the harness was way too short while the bottom of the harness was way too long. The fit seems more suitable for dogs with shorter necks and bigger chests, like a French Bulldog.That said, it is a beautiful harness made with soft and comfortable materials for the dog, comparable to another popular brand of harness that lacks the more effective front no-pull d-ring for leash attachment that this harness has.Harnesses like this can be more difficult to get the right fit as it relies on adjusting four straps and depends on lengths of the top and bottom for proper fit, which can’t be adjusted.Harnesses that slip on over the head and attach with velcro and a single clip are much easier to fit and take on and off. While this harness has 4 straps and buckles, it does seem easier than a lot of harnesses to take on and off since the design is straight forward.Also, I would suggest to try to go down a size rather than up a size if you are between sizes since the straps don’t tuck away well, and you don’t want your dog chewing on dangling straps.It is a great harness for the materials and for this style of harness. I would consider it the best designed for this type of harness. Just be aware of the drawbacks of this type of harness and how the fit is skewed towards one particular body type.

Lacks easy on/off clip at chest, & chest straps should be easier to adjust & resist loosening.
I have now used this size small halter on my active 4-year old, slim build, 25 lb. beagle for 3 months. Here is my review. The fit on the girth is good and the straps do not slip. However, the strap at the chest that has the front d-ring clip is not a good design. My dog pulls very hard. I bought this halter because it had the front d-ring, which is supposed to discourage dogs from pulling more than would using the d-ring on the top of the halter, at the dog’s back. Unfortunately, when the dog pulls, the halter slides significantly around to the side, so that the grab handle ends up at the dog’s side, rather than on top of the back. It is not possible to get a tight fit on the chest strap because it is so hard to adjust. And even once you get the tightest fit (with 2 fingers extra room) that is safe, when the dog pulls, the straps loosen very easily. Further, the design is flawed because the chest strap does not have a clip on at least one side for easy on and off. Every time I have to take it off my dog, it is a struggle to get it off over his head (putting it on is easier). I have tried other harnesses which DO include a clip at the chest strap to make it easier and faster to get the harness on and off and that is a big improvement over this design.Lastly, on a more aesthetic level, the fabric at the chest that wraps down towards the belly pills very quickly, so even though this halter is only 3 months old, it looks rather dingy, faded and pilled, even after a wash.On a positive note, I would say the stitching is very solid and I do not have the feeling that anything will rip loose or that the d-rings will become detached.I would recommend the design be upgraded to include an easy on and off clip at the chest strap, and that the chest strap be installed in a way to make it easier to get a tighter fit that can be more easily adjusted, as it loosens up when the dog pulls hard when out walking.

Worked like a treat – no more pulling and grunting from our little pup! Very easy to use and perfect for the car. The only problems is that it doesn’t stop her from hopping on her hind legs – this is more related to the dog than the harness!

I’ve got a pitbull mastiff puppy so he’s bulky and quite strong. This harness is the only one that I could find that fits him perfectly (I bought the xl camo) plus he still has room to grow into it if I adjust the straps, others that I have bought in store were too short and/or tight even though they were xl too. The harness is sturdy and is holding up well, I’ve had it for almost 4 months now and there is no rips or stretching, and even though he wears it in the river once in a while it doesn’t stink right away like other harnesses he’s had, I still make sure to clean it when it does get too dirty but it doesn’t trap the yucky wet dog odor. This harness is also great for training if you have a strong puller/exited dog, the clip on the top gives the dog more freedom to walk but it’s still heavy duty so it won’t break, the clip in the front is good for corrections, training them to walk beside you and not pull as much, and if they do get too exited and try to run it works in a way where it kind of trips them up or loops them back to you plus it doesn’t hurt your arm so much to correct them. There is also a handle on the top of the harness which I found is good for helping move my pup up into a vehicle or if I really need to get his attention or make him sit or lay down if he gets too excited at the dog park or around lots of people.
