Worth every penny!
I’ve tried a few automatic litter boxes before, but this one has been the best experience by far. From the moment I set it up, it was clear that a lot of thought went into the design. The open-top style makes it easy for both of my cats to use. I have one large cat and one smaller rescue, and they both adjusted to it right away without hesitation.The built-in safety sensors are a huge plus. I love knowing that the cleaning cycle automatically pauses if one of the cats jumps in, then starts again once they’ve left. It gives me peace of mind, especially since one of mine tends to be curious about moving parts.Cleaning is incredibly easy. The waste compartment holds quite a bit, so I only need to empty it every few days even with two cats. The included liners make the process quick, and the litter mat really helps reduce tracking around the house.Another thing I really appreciate is how quiet it is. It runs softly enough that it doesn’t scare the cats or disturb me at night. The first time it cleaned itself, I barely noticed it was on.Setup was simple too. 5 stars of awesome! Absolutely love this machine!I have a larger cat and he used it as soon as it was filled with litter. He’s a tripod with 1 front leg and can get in and out of it just fine. I do recommend a mat for under and around the machine. The height compared to a normal litter box gives more opportunities for litter to get kicked out when exiting.It does a great job with the sensors to stop once it picks up motion either when leveling or dumping. And if your cat gets curious when it’s turning over to dump it still senses them and will pause.The “dump tray” glides easily, the bags are super simple to change, and it holds plenty! It also contains the smell until it’s exposed, obviously. But there is no smell, anyone who comes over, even other cat owners don’t smell anything and this thing sits in my livingroom! Do remember to check the tray and empty it, there is not an indicator to tell you it’s full. When it is, it will keep dumping and end up in the floor behind the machine. **Easy for kids to forget since it doesn’t smell!Super easy installation too!You literally just take it out of the box, put the legs on it, place a liner in the tray (2 rolls were provided in mine), plug it in and fill with litter…DONE! The blue plastic liner is used to cover the vents to completely change the litter. Do not throw it away!Cons of this machine that could be easy to fix with a new model:The plastic blue vent cover thing doesn’t stay in place when trying to change the litter. I put 2 pieces of tap on it to keep it from falling over.The liner under the litter should come out and be able to be cleaned. If this is something that can be done now cool, please reply and lmk how!Cleaning underneath the main chamber is hard, maybe put a pause button on it, the little dips where the rollers are always has litter in it from dumping.I’ve had this for almost a year now and it’s just the same as when I bought it. Would definitely buy it again for the quality and the cost. 9 out of 10, do recommend!
