Fun dog toy, but a few hiccups
Got this automatic ball launcher for my pup. It’s pretty nifty! The different balls are a hit – my dog loves chasing both types. Having four launch modes keeps things interesting, and the continuous launch feature is great for keeping my energetic pooch busy. It’s nice that it works both indoors and out, though I mostly use it in the backyard. The remote control is handy for changing settings without getting up. Now for the not-so-great bits: the battery life could be better when using it outdoors. The launcher’s a bit noisy, which can startle more skittish dogs. Sometimes it jams if the balls get wet or dirty. The ‘far’ setting isn’t as far as I expected – fine for smaller spaces, but might not cut it for bigger yards. It’s also a bit bulky to carry around. Overall, it’s a good toy for keeping dogs active and entertained, especially younger ones or those who love to fetch. Just be prepared for some occasional hiccups and don’t expect it to completely replace playing fetch yourself.

Cute but scares my Doxie
This little ball launcher works great and comes with a pack of 6 rubber balls. i haven’t tried it with just batteries so can’t comment on that. I have tried the small Kong tennis balls and they work in it as well. My only problem is- my dachshund is terrified of it. It makes a whirring sound after you drop the ball in and it moves the ball through the chute to launch it and she runs for her life. Disappointed she doesn’t like it because it is very cute.

Fun for Small Dogs, Works Well
This ball launcher is fun for dogs. It has worked well for our small dog who is obsessed with balls, he loves it. He has not yet learned to load the balls himself, but it has still been good because I prefer dropping the ball in and letting the machine throw it rather than doing it myself. Hopefully he will eventually learn to do it on his own. Since he likes to mouth and chew the tennis balls, they do not throw as far as the rubber balls because the surface is roughed up, but they still throw a good distance for him to chase. It will work indoors or outdoors, but if you use it outdoors it needs to be in a place where the balls won’t get dirty or you will have to clean them before loading them. I recommend this ball launcher.

A complete lifesaver for a velcro dog
This was a major expense for me, but I was getting frustrated with a puppy who wouldn’t let me do my work from home. He’s learned to drop the ball on his own, as I have always focused on the “drop it” as being the greatest goal of any fetch or catch game. He loves playing “drop it” while I get things done, and I will often join in. Occasionally, I will occasionally hear him yipping at the toy in frustration, only to find that he has tried to drop his Kong or another favorite toy into the machine. Aw, it’s so sweet and precious that I just have to giggle at his determination before changing out the toy for one of the balls.Because he is a small-er breed, I don’t have any concern with the balls being too small.

Worked exactly once
This is such a huge disappointment. My dogs absolutely LOVED this ball launcher. It worked ONCE! One great playtime last night, now it won’t even turn on. Expensive POS

FUN for All!!!!
I love it, but far more important my two to dogs love it! It makes for fun times so far we just use it indoors plugged in, but it’s nice to know that we could take it outside in the backyard and off batteries still have as much fun. Recommend it for anyone who has dogs who love to chase!!

Small balls
Balls were ok, however they are really small. I thought they would be tennis ball size and they were NOT.
